2019 4* S Marvin Grant commits to Purdue - HOW???
While busy trying to gain Karma for the CFB Risk War, I came across this:
From this, I have ALL the questions:
- Why would a 4-star Safety out of Detroit sign with Purdue?
- Was UM not heavily involved?
- His Crystal Ballz were heavily for Kentucky...Why?
And further - this link shows that Purdue now has 3 4-Stars in the 2019 class.
They only had ONE (!!) in the 2018 class.
What kind of Snake Oil is Brohm pushing?
I look to my Supreme Recruiting Overlords to help me understand this...
Current Feels:
Nobody knows the story here, but there is definitely a story. Hope he does well at Purdue. Brohm looks to be making that an exciting team to watch.
His offense may be exciting, but his defense will always be soft and never good enough to make any real noise In the Big Ten.
Purdue = Hot Chicks.
And palm trees.
And that train horn sound after TD's and FG's is simply irresistable.
Just NO!
We’re gonna take fewer DBs for 2019 - I’d be surprised if we took more than 2 in 2019 because we nabbed 5 in 2018
You have to take more risks.
Based on the big schools backing off and Kentucky stepping up the tea leaves are pointing to a risky recruit. Not sure why, but that seems to be the case...
I hope he succeeds in all of his endeavors.
Size and athleticism are definitely not the issue. His numbers are good enough to go anywhere:
