They'll never do this, but I would love to see MLB give Galarraga the perfect game retroactively by overturning the safe call, calling it an out.  I don't think Joyce should be fired, but I also think he shouldn't be allowed to call a game the rest of the year.  What a joke.

I got up on my high horse, and was ready to proclaim that whomever is the MLB Commissioner should have the guts to step in and reverse this call.  I can't imagine that Jason Donald (or his agent) or the Indians would object.

Then I googled "MLB commissioner," and realized that Bud Selig still has the job.  He became acting commissioner in 1992, and never left.

With all that he and baseball have been through, could he not make an executive decision to reverse the call?  Who would object?
