Michigan - Rutgers week: 5 memorable plays against the Big East
We don't have much history with Rutgers, so I decided to make a video of memorable plays by Michigan against Rutgers' former conference (the Big East). People who are inclined to complain that I didn't include whatever play they were hoping for may want to consider this a video of "forgotten" or "overlooked" plays.

Aaron Shea was awesome. Great blocker and a load to bring down when he got going.

*Fixed it for you:
Rutgers doesn't belong in the Big Ten, so I decided to provide highlights of Michigan against their appropriate conference.

From 1998 to 2003 you had Miami, Virginia Tech, Syracuse when McNabb was there. Those were some very good to elite-level football teams.
The ACC made their raid in 2004, and yes there were some far-from-elite teams like Pittsburgh 2004 and Connecticut 2010 that made BCS games.
But even including them, the Big East still went 6-4 from 2004-2013 in BCS games. WVU 2005, Louisville 2006, WVU 2007, WVU 2011, Louisville 2012 and UCF 2013 were the winners.
I think ripping on the Big East of that era is a bit unfair. The real "loser conference" of the BCS era was the ACC. 5-13 in their 18 BCS games.

The Big East had a solid lineup back in the day. Fun fact Penn State almost joined the Big East in the 80s but their bid fell one vote short.

the B1G still makes an invite at some point.
The invite may not have been in 1991, but likely eventually (late 1990s-early 2000s, right around the time the ACC started sniffing around the Big East).
