The Case For Speight Part 2
Harbaugh has seen practice reps and game film. He's arguably the best qb coach/evaluator in the world. Speighters need to accept this and start cheering and pulling for him because Jim Harbaugh knows 1000% more about Mochigan's qb situation than they ever will. THE END

Speight currently is not good, and if there is nobody better behind him, that's on harbaugh.
The idea that there is a better player sitting behind speight is stupid, but a red herring. The issue is that there is no better player sitting behind speight

Eh. I'd argue the real issue is that Speight isn't playing better. If he was, and we know he can because he did it last year, it wouldn't matter that there is no one better behind him.

and he is not playing his best. he has not demonstrated anything promising against good opponents. the issue is that speight just isn't that good AND there is nobody better behind him, which is a concern.

Speight has not played well in his last 5 games, but he did look promising vs Wisconsin, Colorado and Penn State last year, all very good teams. He needs to return to that form.

And see how he does. I still wish Morris was given a chance to play once Harbaugh was here.
