Apparently their is something in the air tonight for former Michigan players

The jump was neat, but overall Morris did not have a good game. Still got a cannon of an arm with little to no accuracy. 4.6 YPA and a 51% completion percentage.

But if he was playing 7 on 7 he'd be an all american.

I hope Shane has a good year. He stuck around and worked. Was he what the rankings said he would be? No way. But he never bitched. Instead he worked and was a team player. And as much as Hoke was an idiot in the concussion game....Shane was waving him off. Kid has a heart. Wish him in the best this year and life after football.

25/49 for 226 yds, 1TD, 1 INT, QBR of only 49.0. First game jitters?
It took CMU 3 OTs to defeat an FCS Rhode Island team 30-27, despite the fact that RI threw 6 picks in the game.

and I hope he does, but his lack of accuracy has always been a problem. He's the opposite of Jake Rudock (ave at best arm, very accurate). If you have to pick one trait, accuracy is the one to choose.

Chesson and Thomas were great at U-M, but based on their athleticism, I think both have the potential to be even better in the NFL.

you hope that you don't see the play much because if they play a lot, it means they're on the roster bubble. Chesson is safe for now, but he wont' see time on the field this season unless there's injuries at WR.
Thomas is a long shot because he's a UDFA. We'll see if he makes the roster. More to it than athleticism since there are a lot of elite athletes in the NFL.

And after that highlight, he may be picked up by other teams if he's waived. Since they have to waive him before they can put him on the PSq, they'll have to weigh the possibility of losing him to another team. I don't have the stats, but I think he did get some good minutes and positive feedback in the earlier games.

Did anyone else hear that the Broncos are likely to cut TJ Ward if they can't trade him by Saturday? That has to be good news for Thomas' opportunity of get some significant playing time this season!

then re-sign him for a lower money. That was their plan per rumor.
Odds are that they'll keep TJ Ward.

Succeed even in the preseason. Hope to see it carryover into the regular season.

CMU looks like Arizona State. Did they get new jerseys?
