The amount of "breaking news" I've seen this morning is making my head spin.
We need Decker healthy by week 1 - does anyone know the recovery timetable?
Caldwell said it shouldn't cost him the entire season, then said he's not a physician. I like Caldwell, but man that dude refuses to give the media anything concrete. Dude must live in a submarine or something.
Here's a link. It's to the FREEP, and I apologize in advance. But I happen to believe that Dave Birkett is a pretty solid journalist who doesn't cater to the Ford family.
So, who is Taylor Decker?
Also former OSU LT
[delete. I added less than usual.]
And a damn good one at that. I believe he made the all-rookie team.
Can always count on the board to provide entertaining responses.
...lowly Bengals fan here so didn't recognize the name.
The Lions are lower than the Bengals. Trust me. You might have another rough one this year, but at least you've been making the playoffs in a tough division.
he was a stud in his rookie year with the Lions. He has been great in pass protection and adequate in run blocking. He's expected to make a big jump in his 2nd year towards elite terrority.
If it can happen to any organization...it'll happen to the Lions...
except championships. Championships definitely don't happen to the Lions.
All three have the potential to be Pro Bowl candidates as early as this season (before this injury). I guess it's because of my Midwest roots, but the OL was the position group I was most excited to see play this fall. This is a huge letdown.
couldn't they have decided to do this earlier?
