Michigan vs Illinois: Blue uniforms at home

I want to see hard fouls.

Really hard.

Only took an umpteen amount of screw ups by Donnal for Teske to finally get some key minutes.  Beilein signs 2 centers this year and refuses to play either of them, ridiculous.

has shown up. Maybe some of his teammates were stopped by the same emotional idiots that stopped WD from showing up. Or maybe pink-hatted protestors.

For as bad as Illinois has played, to be in the game has to be encouraging. This is some hideous basketball, other than Wilson, who is the best player on the floor by leaps and bounds.

Nice shot by Walton to end the half. Will be interesting to see if Michigan can keep it up or run out of gas.

Of last year which essentially beat notre dame in the NCAA so we'll see. Seeing a lot of zone lately because we don't feed the high post and we're normally one and done on the glass. We'll see if the staff can exploit it this game and going forward.

The D has been much better but holy Hell Wilson needs to slam that down. Michigan has to lead the nation in most missed layups.

Agree with Woodstock Wolverine. Who is this team? It would be nice if they can stay around for a few months.

Mentioned above but I agree...these guys are much more enjoyable to watch. It's not just the big lead either. The lead is there because of the heightened intensity on the defensive side of the ball...which translates to points on the other end. Ilinois looks like hell, yes, but some of not a lot of that is because of our guys.

Tired of hearing about Michigan giving up 52% of opponents' 3 Point shots, as if that's a meaningful stat? It's like the announcers saying, "ha ha, you guys are the unluckiest team ever!" Hey, thanks for the reminder, but after our history of injuries to our best players, we were aware.

Arguing with refs last game helps the players psyche. Can't believe it took to mid January Allowing the defensive Philosophy to change. Calling out the seniors in the presser (has been brewing for weeks). Shit dj has five offensive rebounds today sending twins to the glass which if you watch film like me, never happens for us. Usually one big fighting three or four guys. Futile.

So much more intensity defensively the last two games. Not sure why it took so long to happen. Will be fascinating to see if they can keep it up against IU, which *always* comes to play in A2
