Michigan Monday is Up
Good read as usual. He's much more generous in assessing JOK than I think anyone here has been.
Can't wait for the game. Go Blue!

We need new pics from a UM win over OSU. These will never get old, it's just nice to have fresh evidence.

All you are doing is calling attention to the fact that you have ONE game from recent history to draw from as a taunt. And it came five years ago against an interim coach.

Enjoy this read, but every time I land on their ugly-ass website I almost puke. Was this thing built using Geocities in 1998? Update needed, in a bad way.
November 22nd, 2016 at 10:01 AM ^
Yeah! I have no idea how anyone can read about their favorite team on a website that looks like it was built in the late 90s! You wouldn't catch me.. Oh.

On the contrary, I respect that they've kept it old-school.
I have no problem with the look of this site, either. I just wish the server could handle the traffic better.

I believe if we play to win instead of playing not to lose the entire game, we will come out with the victory. This includes the play calling and the attitude on the field. if O'korn gets the nod, he needs to run the offense confident in his abilities to do so.
GO BLUE beat Tosu!

The "t" before OSU. I simply cannot understand why UM fans use it.

Chris "WAIT, is that what I think it is?!?!?!?"
Herbie "oh no"
Chris "THAT'S SHANE MORRIS'S MUSIC!"
Herbie "hold me Chris"
{A fully weaponized Shane Morris appears and shatters most NCAA single-game records in route to an 82-10 Michigan victory}

Ohio State vs. Michigan is the best thing sports has ever given us, and it's going to give us even more on Saturday. New heroes, new goats, new hits to the head on third downs that keep drives alive, new poses -- either the Heisman or the Byesman
CANNOT WAIT!

I had the same observation regarding O'Korn's scrambles Satruday...
when he scrambles, he will sometimes turn his back to the defense in an effort to reverse field and avoid a sack
Speight has done a tremendous job avoiding pressure using a simple side step. Worst-case he goes down at contact vs. giving up an additional 5 yards doing circles.

I always felt bad for Devin Gardner, but he also had a terrible habit of doing that.
November 22nd, 2016 at 11:58 AM ^
But he had the athleticism to make it work. O'Korn is just giving up yards.
Run forward, son.

The Wolverines blocked two punts. No, they didn't return either of them, but they have been fantastic this season at blocking punts. They haven't been great at blocking them backwards, however, but I've pretty much just guaranteed that they will do it against Ohio State by typing this sentence.
I get the feeling that we might see a lot of things - on both sides - that we haven't seen all year, but then it has always been that sort of game for the most part, just one of the things that makes it the best rivalry in my own opinion anyway.
November 22nd, 2016 at 3:38 PM ^
I would not be surprised if we see a fake punt, 2 point conversions, onside kick, fake FG, etc. from OSU. I think Urban will be willing to take an early chance on something like that just for the emotional factor advantage it would give them.

Not sure what impact it happens on the game, but the weather looks as good as it gets in late november.
42 degrees, partly cloudy, 10mph winds.

Good for us if we have a functional Speight. Not good for us if we don't.
November 22nd, 2016 at 2:43 PM ^
Disagree. OSU has looked like garbage in bad weather. Would be a big advantage for us. We're not a spread team designed to get players in space.
Good weather is advantge them.
November 22nd, 2016 at 3:40 PM ^
We will need to go downfield to win. We are much easier to stack the box against to stop the run than OSU who spreads you out horizontally.

it was a trap week for both Michigan and OSU, considering OSU lost to Sparty last year, not sure about it being a trap week for OSU but the writer does a nice job. The shout out for the "Rutgers rivalry" pretty darn funny. Thanks mgolund.

November 22nd, 2016 at 3:44 PM ^
I think fits. "You can't be afraid to win." We need to embrace winning on Saturday against OSU as though we are entitled to it and deserving of it, but not that it's a given, or that it's predetermined. Play hard, play smart. Leave it all on the field.
