OT: Lions First Place in NFC North

Submitted by Bergs on

Seeing as this blog caters to a lot of Michigan residents and that we might be in need of some positive football news...with Washington defeating Minnesota and Tennessee throttling Green Bay, the Lions are in first place of the NFC North (holding the tiebreaker over Minnesota).

After losing Calvin Johnson to retirement, I certainly did not think that the Lions would find themselves in this position ~half-way through the season. They obviously have some huge flaws and have lost several games that they had no business losing, but for now I will relish in their glory. I'm also aware that this post will likely jinx them for the remainder of the season.

Spiderman Jimmy Allen will sing it for you. What a joke, going 4-1 and making a spoof video of the Queen song. I LOL after they lost almost all their remaining games. That was a while ago when I was a senior in High School.

I think it was 3 years ago they were winning the NFC north but totally blew it. Against all odds they lose there last 4 games and the packers take the conference. SOL
