Apologies, had only seen cheap rotations of the Jordan logo and some varied Twitter stuff. Wanted a background for the MGoMasses. Delete if necessary.

Kudo's for the wallpaper formatted re-do, and thanks for the explanation. I had to say something because it felt like you might be taking credit for an idea already posted.

No worries. I think everyone on the planet thought "Air Jourdan" immediately after the catch. I just saw a bunch of basketball logos rotated and wanted to provide something a little "more." I'm not happy with the text and may remove it (that was somewhat rushed), but I am happy with the way the "embroidered" look turned out. Thanks for being willing to explain the criticism instead of just bashing. :-)

And I'll take my negs like a man.

No negs from me, man.

of all that internet money for IP rights and everything else....as if turning the Jumpman logo sideways and coining the phrase "Air Jourdan" (TM) was so monumental the first person to post it on MGoBlog deserves the internet for the day because they were the FIRST to do it. LOLOLOLOLOL! I love and hate this board!

apologies necessary. This is a work of art that also ACTUALLY includes a football.
Great job.

I apprecitate it, this is much more than a rotated logo. Thanks. Now excuse me while I send this to a Wisconsin fan I know.

Edit: So nice I had to appreciate it twice.

for the double post and inventing the word: apprecitate

Apprecitate: when appreciation rains down out of solution.

I can appreciate the suggestion, but I think that would actually detract from the idea that I was going for. I may do it just for fun and post it for you, though.

I'm also very much aware that Jourdan Lewis was NOT in this position when he caught the ball. Many pictures show him laying out backwards (correct historically), but for the visual punch I wanted, I imitated the Jordan logo as closely as I could while adding a helmet, pads, towel, and a football. I struggled with whether to keep it as his actual in-game look and ultimately decided that mimicking the Jordan logo was best.

It's a towel.

Hopefully in 4 months we can make it an MGOSHIRT, with Lewis getting a paid for his likeness.

I would (I created a very nice vector file for the modified Jumpman), but I'd be afraid I would get sued into oblivion. Sadly, this is just an exercise in design work for me. :-)
