OT- Nintendo Classic Edition to be released in November

Submitted by ShruteBeetFarms on

Nintendo is releasing a new classic edition console in November. It's supposed to retail for $60.00. It will contain 30 games that you probably use to love as a kid. It's probably been two decades since I have played video games, but I will splurge for this. The pic below shows the console fitting into the palm of your hand. The games included are:

I previously owned the Sega Genesis classic console. The music encoding had a few issues -- everything was pitched down from the originals and was slightly out of key. Hopefully that isn't an issue with this one, or people will be massively disappointed.

I've got a Retron 3 and plan on purchasing an Everdrive for it and just loading it up with ROMs.

I wonder if it's a licensing issue.  I never owned a Nintendo because my parents preferred the cutting edge technology of the Commodore 64/128.  But I would always watch with envy as my friends played Double Dribble and I believe RBI Baseball.  I would probably buy this if those games were included just so I could join the fun 25 years later.

Was the only baseball game I ever enjoyed.  Because you know, robot's with  laser guns and lightsabers determining whether you're out is much better than letting umpires do it.
