OT - Shouldn't be bad this year

Awww really cute.. the butthurt is strong with this one. 

I was at the games when the tickets were practically given away in the 90's I may not be as old as you though. I do remember though that the Hawks in the 90's, after the trade, missed the playoffs for the first time in almost 30 years right as the ownership started effing up. (I think the current Detroit team is around 25 years or so) 

Unfortunately the owner traded away Chelios, Belfour, Savard, Hasek, Bobby Hull, Roenick in the 90's, stopped televising home games, raised tickets prices, and generally said FU to the fans. So you can kinda see why people STOPPED supporting a team who's owner didn't care about the team or the fans, he made public statements about this as well. 

Yes when ownership changed, fans came back. So instead of "hating" on Chicago for turning their franchise around to what it used to be and actually being successful.... maaaaybe the detroiters might wanna take a lesson from this and do the same for the Lions. It may help.

I for one will be very happy watching all of the soccer this summer also!!!!!

As a soccer fan it's one of the great bonuses. It's all year due to international play and friendlies.

Yes this year is going to be bad.  I found out 2 months ago my wife was in the midst of her second affair in less than a year, different guy this time.  She has decided her own needs are more improtant than that of her husband or our four children.  She has filed for divorce but has not signed the papers yet.  Tonight is our last shot a salvaging our marriage, if that is even possible at this point, as it is our first marriage counseling appointment.  She had refused to go until now.  I have told her since the day I found out about this that I still loved her and wanted to save it.  She repaid my love for her by lying to me and continued to see her boyfriend.  Even if we manage to stay together and start to repair the damage that she has caused, which is the best case senario at this point, this year will still suck ass.
