Worst State Ever shirt

Submitted by TXWolverine44 on
So this is my favorite shirt and have had one since 2008. it has served me well over the years and is a favorite traveling shirt. Alas, I must retire it since it is a bit worn. I'd like to get a new one for this weekend and can't order from the MGoStore because it won't arrive on time but I don't see it on underground printing's website (but there are other mgoblog shirts) Any place I can get one before The Game? (Posting from mobile)

It's not that I'm offended as much as it's a bad argument. Just like It's a bad argument when osu fans wear shirts that say "I don't always talk to Michigan fans, but when I do order fries". I can think of a ton of funnier ways to offend osu fans.

Ohio produces good people, but the state itself is turrible.

I hated Ohio even before I had any connection to Michigan. It was my least favorite state even when I was a completely unbiased observer.

I traveled there twice during high school, and both times I found almost everything about it to be awful....though admittedly I spent a lot of time in Cleveland, which probably colored my perspective.

I've got the blue version of the shirt with the maize Ohio and lettering - actually, the only interaction that the shirt has ever caused was one that was rather amusing and a conversation I had to excuse myslf from so I could laugh. I wore it into work on storm one time (I spent a lot of time dispatching from a conference room, so no one cares how I dress in this situation) and I was walking over to get coffee and heard, "What do you have against West Virginia?"

I looked around, not even thinking someone could misidentify Ohio.

"Your shirt, Lorne..."

"Oh, no, that's Ohio...."

I met Llyod Carr at a fundraiser event a few years ago (it was at a bowling alley) and I was wearing my "worst state ever" shirt - he noticed it and laughed and said he had never seen it before but really liked it

I lived in Ohio for about 5 years and wore that shirt on occassion. I'm now in San Diego and still wear it on occassion.  Its funny how many people will grab me and ask "What is wrong with Ohio?". Then of course I explain to them that it's a football thing (at least mostly, haha).  The best are when they ask "What state is that?". Either way its all in good fun.

I've had one for maybe 6-7 years, and the thing I've disliked about it the most is that it says (ohio) under the state outline. Now -- from reading this post -- I realize they sell shirts without the ohio, which in my mind makes the shirt a lot funnier. They either get it or don't. Don't really care honestly if it offends people. It's all in good fun, and if they can't accept that -- they should spend more time in ohio.
