SIAP: Harbaugh Interview on The Huge Show 7/30/15
I don't think anyone posted this on the board yet. Coach Harbaugh did a fairly lengthy interview on The Huge Show earlier this afternoon around 3:05 pm. Link below for The Huge Show podcast page. Harbaugh's interview is right at the top. Pretty good interview. Definitely not a "clunker."
Yeah I hear you. Sometimes he can be a bit much. He seems to always do a good interview with the coaches though. I was wondering how this interview would go since I'm assuming it's the first one he did with Harbaugh. He did a good job of getting him to open up by the end.
When he interviews coaches, he shuts up and listens. This means less of his cloying voice.
either he or someone else writes up the questions ahead of time. My guess is it's someone else, because the questions are usually well-written and thought out for the most part. If he attempted to ad-lib the interview, it would be a disaster.
Simonson is a blowhard.
when he got away from the interview fluff. Once they started talking about other things not necessarily related to football he started to open up.
I realized he has very much the Godfather mentality. "Don't ask me about my business." If you do you're gonna get disinterested garden variety answers because I have to answer them.
Talk about his family at the beginning and the rest is smooth sailing.
Huge almost blew it at the end though with his obvious "Aren't I an amazing interviewer. I drew out someone as awkward as you" vibe.
... was, when Huge asked about his recent trip to the Normandy beaches, he talked about "the pride of winning back-to-back World Wars".
... thanks for the correction. The real quote was even better.
I don’t take vacations.
I don’t get sick.
I don’t observe major holidays.
I don't listen to the radio in the car.
I’m a jackhammer.
Hey cowherd, you know you suck when Huge is better than you.
