Ahmir Mitchell impressive @ osu FNL
Some nice grabs by Mitchell last night at Columbus. Says on Twitter that he will not commit on this visit.

He'll commit to UM soon. Last night was his last chance before the football season to earn a commitable offer from Ohio State, and he didn't, so he'll commit to UM sooner rather than later.
What I'd be worried about from a Michigan perspective is if he has a breakout senior season. If that happens, he'd be a real candidate for a flip if Meyer offered him late. FWIW I don't think that's very likely; the only way I see him getting a last minute offer would be if an OSU recruit flipped late and they found themselves with an unexpected vacancy.
He might very well be better off at UM regardless. The main problem from OSU's perspective is that they're worried that he'll outgrow Wide Receiver. But Harbaugh seems to thrive on taking talented natural athletes and finding a way to use them, so if that happens, he's probably a better fit at UM.
Where did you get the idea that he's been favouring UM for more than a couple of months? Maybe I missed it, but I don't think its been that long where UM has even been considered one of his leaders. And even with that its co-leader at best.
I actually, think its best for these top recruits to sit down with their families and make this decision AFTER getting away from the coaches. Those in the moment decisions seem much more tenuous to me.
My thoughts on him not committing mean he's hoping for an OSU offer. Hope that's not his reason.
If they won't accept your commitment is it really an offer?

This isn't pintrest, cut out that "don't use [this phrase]" nonsense...
Oops.
Thou shall not let these common urchins soil the good-natured, eloquent candor we have worked so diligently to protect on ye olde board. Thou is a poster or principle, tradition and heritage, a fan, nay, a LOVER of Downton Abbey and other refined and cultured cinematic masterpieces. These ruffians have neither the class nor grammatic fluttery that you possess. Please ask your butler or other hired footmen to compose your words, via quill and ink (if those cockney brains can write. Ha!) and send to my address. From there, I will commission our exclusively upper crust wait staff to pen, in the finest of Queen's, your preferred post. From there I will translate into such quips as LOL WUT?!" And "moar!" While keeping your intended meaning in tact.
Good day!

But but but Tim Sullivan said that he drops a lot of passes!
Meyer's limited attention to scouting might be a clever thing for him to do. Good scouting is difficult and time-consuming. Maybe his coaches trust other sources a little, not just Scout but also offers from Saban, etc, who clearly do the work. I can see 2 benefits. First is time/resources saved scouting, more importnat is lets him hire coaches who are better at other aspects of the game and use otheres' work to his advantage. To a point, of course. Bad fits are bad fits, etc.
Still love this kid. Extremely physical reciever with above average speed. Doesnt seem like he is moving fast but its just sort of effortless, as you see the dbacks running extremely hard to stay with him. Average quickness but kids so freaking strong, just positions himself and outmuscles his way for the ball. Small dbacks would have a nightmare covering him.
Who wears blue and gold? Are those PItt's colors? West Virginia's? Delaware's?

I was just snooping over on 11W to see if they had anything to say about Mitchell and their recruiting analyst said he doesn't think Mitchell will be at the BBQ, but that he is almost sure he won't go to OSU. Why wouldn't Mitchell go to the BBQ? Are there any other teams in play?
