I'm 100% sure that as long as he was passing his classes he will be admitted to Michigan. I doubt Harbaugh would even allow him to pursue a transfer without informally blessing off on what the kid has done in the classroom. Let's be honest, athletes are not held to the same standard that a regular student that wanted to transfer to Michigan would be held to.

It was a joke. He wouldn't have been allowed to camp there.

Does he count against 85 the year he sits out?
Yes.

Jhonny might be all that, but he'll never be the greatest from Berrien Springs. Muhammad Ali lived there for a lot of years.
Yeah, I played Berrien Springs, too, but until my senior year we weren't much better. It's interesting: my freshman football team in northern California last year could've beaten my high school varsity back then. We were small and slow, but we lacked skill...
Funny story: We had an all-state running back my senior year, so the Berrien coach tried to prep his team by suiting up and playing on the scout offense. His defense blew out his knee for him. Coached the game with us on crutches...
Trivium: Berrien's fight song (music) is...you guessed it: Hail....
Increasingly OT: I met Jesse Owens at a track meet at Berrien's field.
Competely OT (and now redundant): Muhammad Ali lives (or used to) not far from Berrien Springs--in a house reputedly owned previously by Al Capone. I think. I'm getting old.
The other, OL Nick Padla signed with MSU. I watched Padla get destroyed by a weak DL all night long. The next morning, MSU offered and he verbally committed.
it'll be nice to have a new Jhonny in town
