Your favorite Big Ten Tournament memories?
Mine: 1998. Enough said. Tractor took it over.

Nobody tore our hearts out for 39 and a half minutes a game . . . and then gave it all back to us with one bad play at the end like Aaron Craft.
I rather miss him.
This is number one.

Jesus man this is like starting a "favorite memories of being kicked in the balls" for Michigan fans. Not like the B1G tourny has been our proverbial happy place.

Yeah, outside of '98 (which isn't even in the record books anymore), I'm pretty hard-pressed to think of a great memory.

Yeah, I think I'll just wait for the "Great NIT Memories" thread instead.
*sigh*
Dion Harris hits the game winning 3 which bounces on the rim with no time left
This may have actually happened.
That's the beauty of the NIT. You can make up anything you want and everyone will believe you. Nobody was paying any attention at the time, and the ones who were don't remember any of it.

It's a bad one, but Evan Turner hitting a three from half court on a buzzer beater to beat Michigan
manny just go off in the last 10 mins of that game was awesome, so that is one good memory to have from that game...
This was supposed to be a happy time. Now I'm sad.
And I can't be there to cheer you up anymore.
That shot should not have even counted. The ball was inbounded and he dribbled for about two seconds without the clock going. Had the clock started when it should have, we would have won that game.

The comeback against Illinois in 2011 that all but locked up the NCAA Tournament bid.
Obviously last year's win over OSU was fun.
Sidenote: look at the hunk of crap that used to be the B1G Tournament trophy. This was when Michigan won the first one in 1998-
I wish they still had that hunk of crap, though....

That's how a lot of trophies used to look, including the NCAA trophy.
Agree with Illinois comeback. Great moment.
Was it 2006 that Graham Brown slammed the ball off the scoreboard in the waning seconds against Minnesota?
but I think it was the last regular season game of the year at Crisler. I think I saw the dent in the scoreboard when I went to a game the next season.
I could have sworn it was the tournament. I remember it being a weekday day/late afternoon game and I had class, so I couldn't watch, but heard about the gaffe for the rest of the day. But you might be right.

Evan Turner was the end of the 2010 season, the Wisconsin game you're thinking of was the Death to Backboards game in 2011. Josh Gasser hit a banked in 3 at the buzzer to beat us.
At the time, it looked to be a huge thump in our tourney chances, but we rallied
Mine would be getting a fist-bump from Coach Beilein while I was doing homework in the hotel lobby during the 2010 Big Ten Tournament.
That's a much nicer memory than what happened the next day.
My most vivid memory is of Evan F#(%!^G Turner... neg away
