What country will you be cheering for in the WC?

Group of Death, and goal differential will probably matter for that 2nd spot to advance, I doubt anyone sits on a 2-0 lead against them

Yep, their goal difference may be pushing -15

The Mexican coach speaks better English than the England coach.

I was totally expecting a translator for the coach, but he held his own very well. What made that scene more suprising, was seeing the French coach awkwardly interrupt the interview. Douche.

Beautiful country. Spent Xmas 2003 there with the family. Similar to Australia, but even more beautiful.
Xmas eve, swimming with Penguins in the Indian Ocean. Priceless.
Cape of Good Hope, beautiful. Table Mountain, great view of Capetown.
I you can get there for the world cup, or any other time, I highly recommend it.
Avoid Johannesburg. Still too much violence there.

Group A - South Africa, Mexico, Uruguay, France
Group B - Argentina, South Korea, Nigeria, Greece
Group C - England, United States, Algeria, Slovenia
Group D - Germany, Australia, Ghana, Serbia
Group E - Netherlands, Japan, Cameroon, Denmark
Group F - Italy, New Zealand, Paraguay, Slovakia
Group G - Brazil, N. Korea, Côte d'Ivoire, Portugal
Group H - Spain, Honduras, Chile, Switzerland
The "Group of Death" appears to be G, although B and E may be no picnic for the top seed, either. Group A looks like the weakest overall (who's the favorite? A slumping France?) and the rest seem pretty lopsided in favor of the top seed.

I'm not sure why Group D doesn't get more attention as a group of death. It's not a bad group to play someone from, as we'll have to do if we advance, but it sure looks like a shitty group to have to be in. I think that looks like the toughest group to be a top seed in, barring South Africa in Group A which they really don't count as the top seed. And an even worse group to be one of the other three teams.
The Group of Death is only G because it's going to be nigh-impossible to advance out of for CdI. I think that's easily the most hosed team in the tournament, outside of the DPRK which wasn't going to advance no matter what group they got stuck in.

Group D should be exciting. By far my favorite and has a few games in there that i want to watch, especially Serbia v Germany. Serbia wont give up too many goals because they have one of if not the best defenders in the world with Vidic and Germany is solid all around, but being big and strong instead of fast and agile.
Oh and yes, France is the favorite, most likely sweeping group A. IF they loose one in group play it'll probably be vs South Africa.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but it seems to me like England doesn't have the reputation for flopping, screaming, and injury-faking like the mainland Euros do. Am I just talking out my ass here? Because if I'm not, I'd think that's a big boost for our team that's not going to be talked about much.

That 'clean' image is just a product of a biased British media. They cry foul when a non-Englishmen dive but defend the embellishment of the likes of Rooney and Gerrard under the guise that the refs are biased against the English so their team have to dive in order to have it fair.

I'm getting married during the USA vs. England game.
I'd rather it conflict with the Super Bowl.

Hey maybe your bride to be will have a change of heart before hand. Maybe she'll want to get married in South Africa. Maybe she'll want to get married a few months later. Maybe she'll get pregnant tonight and you'll get married next month. Maybe she'll decide to marry TomHagen. There's a lot of time for things to change still. At least you can play off the time change thing and get married a few hours after the match.
