Cardale Jones presser at 3pm, expected to go pro
Looks like Cardale Jones is holding a press conference at 3pm today and all signs point to him going pro. Personally, I think its a good decision. His stock will likely never be higher, he's 22 years old, has a new baby to take care of, and there's no guarantee he'll be the starter at Ohio State next season. And Meyer isn't really known for developing QBs. So why not go pro and have NFL guys mold you into a QB and get paid while doing in?

Bengals should take him in the second round. Let him sit, develop him for a year and see how Dalton does. If Dalton continutes to be very Meh, try out Jones.

He will probably have to take a pay cut if he turns pro!

Cardale was remarkably steady as a short-time starter against top competition. But I think Ezekiel Elliot and the OSU O line are by far the main reasons why OSU beat Alabama and Oregon. It was good game planning by Meyer. Weren't Cardale's only deep throws were to all-world jump baller Devon Smith? Meyer did a great job of putting Cardale in great positions to succeed. And being 6'5" and 250lb as a college QB are also not going to hurt your chances of converting an important third and short, or two, or three.

I'm not sure we will ever see another three game starter in college football hold a press conference to announce he's returning to school. Bizarre.
