NFL Saturday Open Thread
1st Game: Ravens @ Patriots
2nd Game: Panthers @ Seahawks
Who ya got?
Patriots and Seahawks here.
I think Brady is the only Michigan alum playing today...Avant was released by the Panthers earlier in the season. Ravens have the Harbaugh link tho.
Edit: Just recognized that Alan Branch is another Michigan alum playing on the Dline for the Pats. FItz Toussaint is also on the Ravens.

I don't understand how it's possible to be an NFL official and miss that call.
January 10th, 2015 at 6:32 PM ^
Have you not watched the NFL this year?. Its been like this all year.
January 10th, 2015 at 6:39 PM ^
I haven't.
January 10th, 2015 at 6:35 PM ^
The Jamie Collins love fest is getting a little out of control.
January 10th, 2015 at 6:36 PM ^
Baltimore should go for this.
January 10th, 2015 at 6:37 PM ^

January 10th, 2015 at 6:38 PM ^
Gutsy call by Flacco to go deep there.

Browner must be high if he thinks that is going against Baltimore.
January 10th, 2015 at 6:39 PM ^
Pats defense is awful.
January 10th, 2015 at 6:40 PM ^

January 10th, 2015 at 7:09 PM ^
All of Baltimore thanks you for the jinx.
January 10th, 2015 at 6:41 PM ^
Patriots D is awful. Hard to win when your D is gonna give up 42 points.
January 10th, 2015 at 6:41 PM ^
lol Brady single handedly caused this game to swing.
January 10th, 2015 at 6:42 PM ^
That and the Pats inability to stop anything.

The guy that Collinsworth says is gonna be on every Pro Bowl and All-Pro team just completely blew his assignment.
January 10th, 2015 at 6:44 PM ^
Brady will bring the Pats back. This is just a replay of the 2000 Sugar Bowl. Down 14 twice, Brady leads them back.
Anyone seen David Terell lately?

John summoning his inner Jim

So Baltimore's bench gets called for unsportsmanlike, but Brady doesn't for his fit in the first half?

January 10th, 2015 at 6:50 PM ^
what is the issue? I missed it
January 10th, 2015 at 6:51 PM ^
That's kind of the point. That call was really odd. NFL coaches and QBs do way worse stuff than that all the time.
Also I think GB would torch either of these defenses.
January 10th, 2015 at 6:54 PM ^
Like Brady did last time? GB dominated that game.
January 10th, 2015 at 7:03 PM ^
Where a game is played matters.
For example, the Lions dominated Aaron Rodgers in Detroit. In Green Bay it was a different matter.
January 10th, 2015 at 7:13 PM ^
GB dominated that game and you are saying its all because of home field. Because #1 seeds with home field have down so well in the playoffs.
January 10th, 2015 at 7:17 PM ^
Anyways, GB wouldn't play NE until the Super Bowl so homefield is irrelevant.
Brady has won three Super Bowls. Rodgers one. I trust BB to come up with a defensive gameplan to slow Rodgers than Dom Capers to slow Brady.
Aaron Rodgers is a great QB, but the Packer's coaching staff isn't as good as the Pats and I don't there is much debate about that.

It aint over yet... Pats just signed Marquis Walker and Hayden Epstein.
January 10th, 2015 at 6:54 PM ^
7-7 on red zone trips so far in this game. Basically no defense is being played.
January 10th, 2015 at 6:54 PM ^
great tackle by 59 there on the KO saved a long return
January 10th, 2015 at 6:56 PM ^
Greg played for the Pats. He can give it one more try
January 10th, 2015 at 6:59 PM ^
while you are at it...bring back Jon Vaughn a former Pat too
January 10th, 2015 at 7:04 PM ^
One I'd actually like to have for this one is Ty Law.

Crowd back in to it
