B1G: Ten Bowl games, favored in NONE of them
The Wynn Las Vegas is one of the first sportsbooks to put odds up for every Bowl game ----- the B1G better win some of these, or you know what the narrative is going to be. 0-for-10 is crazy.
Louisiana Tech -4 over Illinois
North Carolina -3 over Rutgers
Boston College -2.5 over Penn State
USC -4.5 over Nebraska
Stanford -13 (!!!) over Maryland
Auburn -5.5 over Wisconsin
Missouri -6 over Minnesota
Baylor -3 over Michigan State
Alabama -10 over Ohio State
Tennessee -3 over Iowa

I'm still laughing at those two schools. Seriosuly, other than TV how did they make the conference stronger? Maybe Maryland in BB and LAX.
What else?

Okay Mr. Pedantic, historically, regularly, have Rutgers and Maryland been good at football?
The fact they made a bowl game is a strong argument? 76 out of 128 make a bowl game these days.

1. Making a bowl game does not mean you had a good year or your team is any good.
2. If Michigan played 3 cream puffs + 1 power 5 non-conference opponent similarly to Illinois we would be in a bowl game as well. Or taken in reverse, if they played our non-conference schedule, they would too would be staying home this holiday season.

Other than that, yeah I'd say most anyone else is going to lose. Bama will beat OSU because I just can't bet against Saban, and while I'd like to think that Iowa can beat Tennessee, I think Ferentz will derp his way into a loss. USC is going to smoke Nebraska, and Nova will throw 5-6 interceptions because he's not playing Michigan.
It's going to be one bad bowl season, again, for the Big Ten.

10 teams in bowls and we are at home. I was so delusional after 2011. I thought we would be back on championship stage by now and we are in shambles.

go 0-10. I dunno...I haven't followed Louisiana Tech all that closely this year.

would have bet you at the beginning of the year that Penn State would have been in a bowl game but Michigan would not, would you have taken that action?

Shock the world B1G.

MSU will beat baylor, and by double digits.
How the f*** OSU got in the playoff is beyond me. They struggled against really crappy teams, one of thier best wins came against a team that lost to freaking Illinois (minnesota) and thier other good win came against a team that beat nobody this year.(MSU)
So the formula is, be part of a crappy conference, beat up on all your conference opponents who are absolutely terrible, lose to a bad team in non conference, at HOME and get into the playoff. LOL, whatever.
Nice effort Wisconsin
Yes I am bitter about OSU, I think with a competant staff we win at least 3 out of the last 4 against them and this narrative is much different in the media.
Either the B1G is terrible or OSU is absolutely great, you cant have it both ways.
This conference blows, which makes what Hoke has done even more pathetic.

During the entire Meyer years, they have had the 2nd worst SOS WITHIN that conference--nearly tied with PSU and far worse than any other teams. (as shown in the above diary)
So Meyer cannot just blame his conference for Ohio's embarassingly poor SOS.

but a lot of those teams stink.
I like Rutgers over UNC. I think Sparty beats Baylor b/c the latter doesn't want to be there. I always like Minnesota. Otherwise, I think it's chalk, though no way is Stanford favored by 13. I think the OP accidentally posted the O/U.

It hurts my soul to see Michigan football in a pool of non-participants with Purdue, IU, and Northwestern.

I don't think Minnesota winning would be an upset, Missouri lost AT HOME to the last place team in the B1G East.
