Peyton's great when nothing is on the line. Going back to his Tennessee days, he's repeatedly shat the bed when anything has mattered. His magnum opus is out dueling Rex fucking Grossman. If he didn't come from a football family he wouldn't have the hype.

His commercials blow also.

It was most kind of Jed Collins to comfort the ball on that touchdown and thank it for its cooperation by patting it on the "back", if that's what we're going to call it now. Still, nice drive and the Lions go up 7-6. Definitely wouldn't mind another score to get a little breathing room.

to score in the first half. At least 9, if not 13 points were left on the field in the first half. Ugh.

 

Lions fold like a house cards again.  Things never change with this franchise.
