Read my said thread. GRADY. Dude can knock assfucks over and he didn't touch the ball.

I was yelling at the TV, "GIVE IT TO GRADY!" But RichRod didn't hear me. It must have been really loud down there.

Yeah, it was frustrating to see us run the same play (roughly) three times in a row to no effect. Not sure why we didn't try a sneak, Grady, or a play action on third down.

I was disappointed with this series. Minor should have had the ball on first/second down at the very least. When the Roundtree TD was overturned (correctly), I had no problem because I thought for sure we were going to get the TD with Minor.
However, after the 3 straight stops, I really thought we should have kicked the field goal because we would have had a 2 possession lead. If we were up by only 1 field goal, then I'm completely fine with going for it. That was a game changing series, and I wish we could have had that one back. I'm not too upset with the call, but it does hurt more now looking back. (Note: I wanted to kick the field goal at the time, not in hindsight, so please no comments about "hindsight is always 20/20")

Minor supposedly has been hurt all year.
I was wondering why they just didn't try to sneak the ball in. It wasn't even one yard, it was under a foot.

But Minor has come in before when the team needed him to make a play. This was one of those times, and I don't think it should have waited until 4th down. It's no excuse for messing up the first 3 downs, but I was frustrated regardless.

But at the same time, Carlos had been making plays so we went with him. Its one of those hindsight type of plays, If Carlos doesn't get it then its "why wasn't Minor or Grady in?" and if we went the other way, its "Why didn't we stick with the hot hand?"...Personally, I would have liked to see a QB sneak, or maybe even get Denard in there...But the bottom line is that while this was a tough loss to swallow, the season is not over and I'll always have faith in this team. Its great to be a Michigan Wolverine....win or lose.

If he doesn't have a big GIGANTIC hole to run through, he's typically a useless back. He has no patience or vision. Even Mike Hart had constantly told Carlos to be patient. But you can't teach those things. Michigan is like a leaky pipe that keeps springing new leaks as you patch the older ones. How you fix the problems in a week is beyond me. Maybe next week we'll see some progress instead of the regression we've been seeing.

Hindsight is 20-20. Brown had converted just about every short-yardage play in the game (including an earlier TD) up to that point, so I can understand why he got the ball on first down. When it got to third down, I would have liked a QB sneak. Oh well.
What gets me is the subsequent Illinois drive. It seems like whenever we get the ball inside our 10, we struggle to gain even one first down. How do you let an Illinois offense that had done nothing since the beginning of the first quarter go from its own one-foot line and score?
