Rutgers THIS YEAR was just announced as a night game - November 5.

michgoblue,
And, this season - I wonder what the start time will be for the Illinois game. It has the potential to be the two division leaders meeting in Week 12.

The TV networks can force night games for the first weekend of November (2017 Minnesota, Indiana last year, Rutgers this year). After that, both schools have to agree. So we could block a night game at PSU next year.

Wow. No Big Ten opponent until October vs. Minnesota.

Nebraska September 30th

That’s a Big 12 school.

holy shit we play ohio state next year??

Thank God the October 7th game is on the road, the wife's cousin is getting married that day and I was going to be even more irritated if i was not going to be able to work the game if it was at home... also she doesn't care about sports and neither does her fiance so that is why it's a fall wedding...

4evr,
We have a family wedding that same weekend.
I'm guessing that I'll be keeping on eye on the scores that day.

Good schedule to ease in a lot of new starters next year.

Already got my room for @Minnesota! Minnesota and Rutgers are the only 2 Big 10 stadiums I've yet to see. Going to Rutgers next week.

Fuck not ECU. Those guys are fast, come from the same region as App State, and to be honest I really love their Jersey!
October 26th, 2022 at 3:23 PM ^
They have an awesome Skull/Pirate head at the 50 on their home field. When my son was young he used to see a pediatric neurologist at ECU. We once got to an appointment early and walked on the field. Pretty neat.

Easiest schedule in 40 years.

1. Boring. This year wasn't great either. I know there's not a ton to gain from playing hard teams, but what's the fun in playing ecu, bowling green, and UNLV???
2. Why do we always play Maryland on the road so late. We always go and it is so cold. Why not an early season fall Saturday???
October 26th, 2022 at 2:08 PM ^
Worked in 2021.

TRVB, I think part of the fun playing some of the teams you noted is - fans get to see practically every player on the roster. And, that can be enjoyable.
October 26th, 2022 at 1:58 PM ^
So on the evening of November 25th, Day will be leaving Ann Arbor having having lost 3 in a row to Jim.

My roadshow continues: last year was MSU and PSU, this year IOWA, and next year will be NEBRASKA!

Nebraska was one of my favorite road trips, have a great time. People are too nice. Guy greeted me in a bar, shook my hand and said welcome to Nebraska have a great weekend. I looked around for some cameras

OP, not everyone uses twitter. It would have been nice of you to put the schedule in the body of your post.
October 26th, 2022 at 2:59 PM ^
MGoProgrammingQuirk is that this more or less cannot be done in an OP.

Even though a win or loss would determine the season, I always enjoyed playing ND the first game of the year. Those were exciting home games.
October 26th, 2022 at 3:12 PM ^
I’m looking at the Rutgers game and the Maryland game to attend next season.
October 26th, 2022 at 4:21 PM ^
There is one game where I won't be able to get tickets for less than face value. Be very interesting to see how they plan on handling that when it's time to renew season tickets.

Barf.

If they keep scheduling non-con teams no one wants to pay to see, they'll end up with another Brandon/Coca Cola 6-pack scandal. Though I heard from the Counter Strike dude that they are thinking it should be a 12 pack for ECU.
