I like Nunez a lot as a program guy and he seems to be a good teammate/popular social media figure, but he's just not showing his shooting chops in game time.
I know we have "Just a Shooter" and "Not Just a Shooter" designations, but Nunez is starting to get into a new designation of "Just Not a Shooter". If he gets continues to see minutes, I hope he's at least able to drain a couple.

He’s just a shooter who can’t find the hoop. Howard likes him for some reason I haven’t been able to figure out but when we start to face tougher opposition I don’t think you will see him on the floor.

From an analytics standpoint, we can double our points output on free throws if we intentionally clank them and let Hunter nab the easy two points on the offensive rebound. /s
But seriously, would be really nice to get the free throw percentage up. Obviously against PVAM it's whatever, but it would be great to have the gimme points against Big 10 competition.

Moussa had Caleb wide open under the basket, I'm not sure a Collin 3 is the better shot. The fact that he can make that pass at all is impressive though.

The offense just doesn't seem as smooth as last year. The lack of shooting from 3 and the FT line seems to make the scoring and offense clunky so far.

Yes, but to be fair, this is game 2. You need to compare us to how we looked in game 2 last year, not season end.

It's way too early to panic or say that these are just flaws of the team that they'll have to overcome. It just seems that they haven't really eased any of the concerns people had prior to the season (they've tended to perform better than expected the last couple of years). You would just hope to see the issues a little less in games like this.

Exactly. This team lost 3 starters from last season’s team and their 6th man. Tons of talent but it’s going to take a bit of the season to settle in. They’ll probably lose a couple games they shouldn’t but all that matters is how they’re playing come March.

Not much you can take away from this game. This team is super athletic and has A LOT of potential and they need to work on free throw shooting.

BTN graphics are struggling. Just said Michigan is shooting 0% this half. Earlier Brooks hits a 3 then on the screen next possession it says “Prairie View is on a 9-0 run”
