Best RB room in college?   And all can come back next year ….     Michigan has historically struggled to get RBs into NFL .. looks like we have 3 that will be playing on Sundays.

Amazing for the offense to have a real identity, which will (hopefully) lead to a virtuous cycle of Mich hitting above their weight at recruiting exceptional OL and RB who see UM as a showcase for NFL scouts.

This style of offense may well have a ceiling below "national championship", which is why Saban changed approach, but I'd definitely take a consistently "Wisconsin but more talented" that could challenge for B10 championships during experienced years and wait for the stars to align every 10 (or 20 years) for a national championship caliber team (e.g., transcendental QB and Woodson/DeVonta type player on the same time).

(yeah, i know the wheels could fall off by November, we'll see)

It is amazing that we have more rushing yards in 3 games than we had in 6 last year. Vastardis’ improvement has solidified our line…it’s a thing of beauty watching him pull.

Plus there is good evidence that this isn’t even the best the OL will look. Once Zinter gets two fully functional arms, we will be even better. Also, it’s been encouraging what I’ve seen from some of the backups. Also, I always expected Hayes to be a good pass blocker due to his athleticism and length, but I never saw him being the mauler he has become

Maybe others on the board did, but I had no idea Frank Gore’s son was a college running back. With how much Gore and Harbaugh respect each other I’m curious if we kicked the tires on him. He’s playing with southern Missouri so maybe he just wasn’t considered a high enough prospect.
