Wow, I was starting to feel bad for NIU. But if Rocky wants to trash talk the fans because he had a good run against the third team defense—well, fuck ‘em. Let’s score more.

Imagine running your mouth, down 60, because you scored 1 garbage time td against the teams support staff and some random students M pulled out of the crowd.

4th string QB sighting?
September 18th, 2021 at 2:56 PM ^
I love going for it every 4th. Fuck it. Time to be assholes.
September 18th, 2021 at 2:56 PM ^
I like the fact that almost everyone is getting some good playing time. Good experience.
September 18th, 2021 at 2:56 PM ^
The three top WRs involved, and 233 yds passing. :-)
September 18th, 2021 at 3:06 PM ^
No Sainristil and Henning's yards were from a pop pass...we didn't involve the Slot WRs enough.

I want to see Bowman throw the ball. Nothing crazy, but Villari is not the #3. Let him get a toss.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:05 PM ^
I don't know what the said between Jim Harbaugh and Bowman before he transferred. But did he expect to not play even in a game like this? Or, he must be injured.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:07 PM ^
He's played in this game.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:10 PM ^
Was it just 1 play?
September 18th, 2021 at 3:14 PM ^
No he was rotating with Villari every other play and then they added #17 Smith into the mix.
It wasn't a lot but it was maybe 5 snap? All hand-offs.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:17 PM ^
Still confused because I don't even think he'd be the worst starting QB in the B1G. I feel like he should be the clear #3 so maybe something is wrong and he's coming back from something.
I just know the people bitching when he transfered in can relax now.

That 87 yard touchdown was the 3rd longest pass play in Michigan football history? Man maybe just maybe Michigan can pass the ball!
September 18th, 2021 at 3:16 PM ^
Pretty sure Mallett to Manningham at Wisconsin in 07 was longest in history. Over 90 yards
September 18th, 2021 at 3:03 PM ^
Peyton Smith #17.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:04 PM ^
Double pass...Bowman to Villari to Anthony.
Do it!
September 18th, 2021 at 3:05 PM ^
Time to root for Purdue! Go Boilers!!
September 18th, 2021 at 3:06 PM ^
A few other good games going on with B1G teams .
Cincy/Indiana , with Indy up by a missed pat
Ok/Neb with Neb only down a td late .
Staee and Miami with staee up by a field goal start of the 4th
September 18th, 2021 at 3:06 PM ^
So, national championship? Lol
September 18th, 2021 at 3:07 PM ^
I know managing substitution is the coaches’ job but it’s still a little surprising it doesn’t get bungled more often.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:07 PM ^
The other games, Mia v St, and Ind v Cin, have turned into something.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:08 PM ^
That's it Jalen Perry! Lay the wood!
September 18th, 2021 at 3:08 PM ^
Lombardi still playing? Why?
September 18th, 2021 at 3:09 PM ^
Fun game to watch. I feel a bit better about Cade and the passing game -- opponent caveats of course.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:10 PM ^
See you in the snowflakes threads!

Well, that fourth quarter was mercifully quick. Three games, three impressive performances. Quite a nice start to the season. Defense looks much improved. Offense looks coherent.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:13 PM ^
Can't believe we were outscored in the 4th quarter 7-0. Totally unacceptable.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:17 PM ^
WMU is beating Pitt by a TD.
September 18th, 2021 at 3:55 PM ^
Epic performance to close out non conference portion of the season. We played over 100 players and 5 QB's today. Really like how this team has played so far. Game only took just over 3 hours like days gone by. Bring on Big 10 and Rutger !

As much as I love the intensity of night games, nothing beats a nice relaxing noon kickoff.
