It’s really weird.  The conversation that is on line is different than the conversation being had in homes right now.  The virus is really not a thing that is impacting people right now, the complete economic closure is ruining lives by the minute.  I hope Kevin Durant recoveries feels whatever illness he has, but I honestly don’t give a goddamn about Kevin Durant right now.

My sister is a doctor. The virus is really a thing that is impacting her right now. 2 of her patients tested positive Monday. My mom is 77 years old. The virus is really a thing that is impacting her right now. She is being told by her children to stay home, avoid crowds, don't go to Church, don't go to the hairstylist, because they DON'T WANT HER TO DIE. I live with my wife and her parents. I'm begging her to reduce the amount of time she is spending outside shopping and working because I don't WANT HER PARENTS TO DIE. I honestly don't give a goddamn about your opinion.

At the end of this, if you convinced one person to take it less seriously- you have blood on your hands. Every person with a brain understands the risks right now. This is a deadly disease... and if it doesn’t kill a bunch of people, it will get a lot VERY sick. If hospitals are overwhelmed, there will be a lot of problems... you can save lives right now by being responsible and taking this seriously.

Tired of seeing "This celebrity tested positive and that celebrity tested positive" when average every day folks get denied testing by the state labs because they don't meet requirements ( even though they show symptoms and doctors are requesting the testing".

With Labcorp and Quest now offering tests, the number of positive cases will climb. We were only able to get 1 specimen approved for testing with the state lab in Arizona...1.

This will be humanity’s finest hour.

The virus has been spreading exponentially, but our learning curve is growing exponentially as well. Do not underestimate the ingenuity of humanity. Many of the world’s greatest geniuses are working on this.

I believe in this as well and do my best to hold on to this tenet. However, I also believe that the amount of good and evil in the world is present at a nearly 50/50 balance.  Here, in the good old US of A, this balance of good and evil is as fragile as anywhere else...and those who have presently benefitted from the concentration of political and economic power give me great pause in these regards. The current state of "goodness" seems to be quite dubious.

Just like Tom Hanks tested positive....

Do you see what's really going on here?  It has nothing to do with a virus.
