Helps when there are quick decisions on the plays, doesn't take 7 seconds to pass the ball

That was an easy, effective drive. These kids are very talented, and were capable of doing that on the road against Wisconsin, but were asked to execute very different plays. LSU isn't setting records on offense because Meyer is on the sidelines, it's just run run, arm punt to giant receivers, run run arm punt to giant receivers. Hopefully last Saturday was rock bottom.

Looks to be helping. Nice to see him being fiery with the players. Motivational fire.

I heard the TV announcers say that Gattis told them the sideline is where he feels like he is in his element. So why the heck did you go up into the booth to begin with, Josh? Were you told to go there? If so, then you do not have complete autonomy.

Both WRs were on the LOS Millen, come on dude, that was the penalty.

I like the psychological symbolism. It subtly suggests that Gattis is truly in charge of the offense. Might be the step further into the shadows that Harbaugh needs. The truth is that Harbs was always going to have to become more a manager type. . .

I'm all for trying something new because it clearly wasn't working. I think he realized that he has to be more involved and help coach up the players in the moment rather than after the fact through film. Obviously youre sacrificing a better view of what's going on on each play but with tablets and tvs they can still get that view live. I always preferred coaches on the sideline to tell you what they see and what they want from you.

Drevno got moved to the sideline too.
