Put aside the wife beating and all the other shady crap... but if you look at the football succession plan... Gene Smith is doing is exactly the right way. Announces Meyer staying another year with the successor on staff. Wish Lloyd did this... Rather, wish Lloyd had a worthy successor like Jim Harbaugh who wanted to coach QBs a few year prior but Lloyd and Bo chose Loeffler instead. Shit, had we done this, this lost decade would have never happened.

It also would have never happened if Lloyd hadn’t sabotaged the Les Miles hire.
We have only one person to thank for Rich Rod, and that’s Lloyd. Without Lloyd, Rich would never even have been considered and Les would have signed the contract right after his bowl game like originally agreed upon.

Jeez, is a plane crash UM's only hope? We got our asses kicked last week and the next OSU coach will continue the trend until Bo's fingerprints are off of the UM football brand. Alabama's rebirth required a break from the Bryant past. Aside from Gene Stallings, all of the "BAMA MEN" hired to replace Bryant shit the bed.
