Luke Moffatt with the nice one-timer! 1-1. PPG

Great goal there - it was starting to look like one of those nights where it just all goes wrong. Hopefully we get it going a little more here!
November 15th, 2013 at 10:37 PM ^
Another penalty on UNO.

Stop using the corner of the rink camera

Interference on UNO

Complete silence on the broadcast

PPG, 2-1 U-M!!
November 15th, 2013 at 10:40 PM ^
Another PPG. That PP was looking pretty ugly with a few UNO SH chances but we got a ping off the pipe and a rebound was put in. 2-1
After being an assist machine, JT Compher finally gets his first goal. Congrats to him.

BANG!!!
November 15th, 2013 at 10:40 PM ^
Compher with the goal.
November 15th, 2013 at 10:41 PM ^
JT Compher, it's a 2-1 game.
November 15th, 2013 at 10:42 PM ^
Hopefully the team will continue with the momentum to finish off the game.
AND STAY OUT OF THE DAMN BOX!
November 15th, 2013 at 10:43 PM ^
Special teams have definitely been the story of this game so far. Staying out of the box & sound defense could well be a pass to victory if we can manage it.
November 15th, 2013 at 10:44 PM ^
but they're only down 1 in EL with 5:24 to go. 52-51 MSU.

I got to see the Army-Niagara game tonight. We should be happy with what we have because a lot of D-I schools play in tiny little rinks in front of 1,500 fans every night. It's awesome that we have 5000-6000 people every night with a great pep band and a great student section. Yost is a place you really start to appreciate when you see where other teams are playing (no direct offense intended to Niagara)
Also, Army is terrible. Really terrible

Ohio State has an arena. A nice, oversized arena. But an arena nonetheless. And they got bumped for exactly one CCHA playoff series. It's not that big of a deal.
And, really, we can capitalize Ohio.

Shit, they score, tied at 2.
November 15th, 2013 at 11:02 PM ^
Is what it is. UNO kept it in, guy found it behind the net, dumped it into the slot and it was buried. 2-2 w 17 to go
November 15th, 2013 at 11:02 PM ^
This camera is terrible. It's so zoomed out I can barely see the puck.
November 15th, 2013 at 11:03 PM ^
It's 2-2
November 15th, 2013 at 11:05 PM ^
Scrum in front of the net --> Michigan always ends up on the kill
November 15th, 2013 at 11:07 PM ^
The video sure looked like the puck was sitting right in the net. How do you review that so quick?
Edit: Oh, on the replay with sound the play was blown dead a second or two before it
November 15th, 2013 at 11:07 PM ^
4-on-4.
November 15th, 2013 at 11:08 PM ^
Fuck, they score. 3-2 them.
November 15th, 2013 at 11:09 PM ^
Wow. Absolutely terrible D by Serville there. Let the UNO player skate right by him untouched and a UNO goal
November 15th, 2013 at 11:10 PM ^
Refs just handing it to UNO right now. We score and it doesn't count, UNO commits a penalty and the coward refs just even it out, and of course UNO gets a goal when they should've been down a man and a goal. I guess for this old CCHA match-up they decided to give us some vintage CCHA officiating.
November 15th, 2013 at 11:11 PM ^
In the refs defense, the whistle was clearly blown well before the puck went in the net
November 15th, 2013 at 11:13 PM ^
I know it's tough to see and all, but the whistle was clearly blown early. Also, aren't obvious & immanent goals supposed to count now?
November 15th, 2013 at 11:16 PM ^
Not in college hockey. I know we've missed out on a ton of goals in my history watching Michigan because of quick whistles. Seemed like a regular occurance in Yost
November 15th, 2013 at 11:20 PM ^
I know that hasn't been the rule in years past - I vividly remember it preserving Hunwick's shutout at the Big Chill a few years back. I could have sworn I read somewhere that it had been changed for this season, though.
November 15th, 2013 at 11:23 PM ^
Edit: Oh wait. That's what you said. I don't think it's a new rule but I could be wrong
November 15th, 2013 at 11:13 PM ^
Motte stuffed on a breakaway, Guptill can't score right in front of the net. Come on guys.
November 15th, 2013 at 11:19 PM ^
I'm starting to join the crowd that believes Serville is bad. Just tried to join the play on offense, biffed it, and gave UNO a 3-on-1 that they fortunately missed
November 15th, 2013 at 11:24 PM ^
Some games he's great, other times he is a disaster. We can't have that.
November 15th, 2013 at 11:26 PM ^
Having a hard time getting anything setup
November 15th, 2013 at 11:26 PM ^
4:38 left. C'mon, guys!

Announcers giving the NCHC the full SEC ball licking treatment.
November 15th, 2013 at 11:33 PM ^
Fitting that it's CBS guys. No pretense of a balanced broadcast here.
November 15th, 2013 at 11:30 PM ^
UNO not even interested in offense anymore. Just playing to jam up the neutral zone and get the puck out of their zone
November 15th, 2013 at 11:34 PM ^
Sigh. 3-2 them. Hopefully we skate better tomorrow night, and the refs won't be so whistle-happy. No TV, though.
Edit: oops, thought game was over. OK, now it is.
November 15th, 2013 at 11:34 PM ^
I'm still trying to figure out why Red has changed the lines before every game.
November 15th, 2013 at 11:36 PM ^
Nothing against Nagelvoort, but does Red give Racine the start tomorrow?
November 15th, 2013 at 11:36 PM ^
In regulation this year we've scored 1, 3, 7, 1, 2, 2, 1, 2, 2, and 2 goals.
Still probably a tournament team, but probably a 3-4 seed like we were thinking pre-season. Way too many penalties still
