Very good. Easiest schedule for the rest of the season. I think Cutler is coming back too early. He will be running for his life from Suh, Fairley, WIllie Young, Ansah(hopefully) and co. I think CJ has a big day(150+ and 2 TDs). Man, I never thought I would be more excited for the Lions than Michigan, lol.

massive win for detroit tommorow and by half time Jay Cutler wishes he hadn't pushed himself back early or has been talken out because the lions defensive pressure is to much for a hobled cutler to handle.

Me too.
I thought of this immediately after struggling to watch our game today. That offesne was so damn frustrating. Feel hopeless with Borges as OC and believing that Hoke will retain him....
... and then Lions vs. Chicago in my near future helped me move on. This is one of the bigger games we've had this early in a season in a very, very long time.
Yes, I think we'll make the playoffs (whether we win or lose this game)
Win = 80% make playoffs
Lose = 60% make playoffs

Will Calvin have a breakout game? Hasn't he done that yet? Can someone of his caliber, who has already broken out, have a breakout game?

I'd kill for 6-1 with a toss up to GB. 11-5/12-4. I want to say the Lions will finish 8-0 but it's the Lions and lol 13-3 won't happen to the Lions.

A division title is almost too much to hope for.

considering the Lions are in 1st place with a tiebreaker over both CHI and GB. They play the Bears with a hobbled Cutler and GB on Thanksgiving with no Rodgers. Plus easy schedule, if Lions beat the Bears, I expect them to win the division.
November 9th, 2013 at 11:54 PM ^
Has it been determined that Rodgers will still be out when we play them?
If that's the case, then you have to makre the Lions the favorites for the division. The game tomorrow will be very telling and if we lose then I might change that opinion, but a win tomorrow puts us firmly in the driver's seat.

I doubt that he'll be back within 2 and half weeks in time for thanksgiving especially if it's a short week.

because of the soft schedule with 2 injured QBs in Cutler(though he's playing) and Rodgers. Lions could go 13-3 this season just because of their schedule. Imagine Ford Field in playoff? The crowd would go CRAZY in that game.

Suh will assault Cutler and receive a fine that is questionable.

Detroit sports aren't OT because a plurality, if not majority, of posters here care about them. The Browns are OT because fuck the Cleveland Browns.
November 9th, 2013 at 11:53 PM ^
But probably a majority. Considering about 2/3 of Michigan students (and thus, alumni) are from in-state and conventional wisdom would suggest a noticeably higher percentage of non-alumni fans are as well, I'd be willing to bet that a majority of MGoBlog posters would affiliate themselves with Detroit pro sports teams.
