I like sitting behind them. The seats are raised relative to the Maize Rage so there's no problem seeing over them. If the students are quiet (or if they don't come because it's a cupcake game or they're on break), sometimes you can hear what Beilein's saying the timeouts, because he's facing you while he says it.
Of course, there are probably some advantages of the other side that I just don't know about.

...but this is somewhat if a "ticket" related thread and no one checks the ticket board.
I'm looking for a couple tickets to the OSU game.
Looking for 2 tickets for the OSU game, don't care where, just looking for them to be together.

I'll be in A2/Detroit for Thanksgiving and trying like hell to go to The Game.

I miss my go-to spot of the last row in the student bleachers at midcourt. Saw some really, really bad basketball from there, but man was it fun.
Bottom line: Never graduate.

Nothing I miss more about the student section, football or basketball, than standing right behind the bench and hearing the coaching from Beilein. Really made me feel a connection with the team.

I wish the student section would be enlarged. We need to have an atmosphere like Duke.
EDIT: Then again, students don't even show for football games, so maybe that is a bad idea.

My seats are in section 218, which is upper level on the corner of the Michigan bench, and I sit about halfway up. I can't complain about my seats at all. Great view of all the action. My first year of seats before the re-seating process was in the second to last row in the corner above the new tunnel. Even those were good seats.
In my opinion, there are no bad seats in the arena. Maybe behind the baskets, but I have never sat there, so I don't have first hand knowledge.

Midcourt is the best, but there really aren't any bad seats - it holds less than 13,000 seats total, which is a nice size for basketball. If you've been to the Palace, it's much more intimate than that.
