Question about MDen sizing
I am strongly considering* buying both a Final Four tee shirt an some shorts from the MDen website. However, I seem to remember comments on the board about MDen stuff running either large or small. Do you, dear reader, have any insight into this? I would especially appreciate thoughts on shorts, as I usually just hold prospective shorts up to myself and give them the eyeball test...I thank you for your help and note that I post this in the hope that it might save myself but also some other poor soul(s) from shorts-related angst.
*Assuming my mom is cool with it.
I bought an XL Football shirt from 'Den not too long ago and it is a little tight. This could mean one of three things-
- I like loose fitting clothes (I do)
- The stuff really is a little smaller than advertised
- I've been eating too much White Castle
My advice: If you can get it in ClimaLite, do it. It's comfy and ladies dig the ClimaLite.
It depends a lot on the brand, and they carry a few different labels. I've found for the most part that their stuff has run fairly similar to what you'd expect elsewhere, with the one glaring exception being a sweatshirt that seemed about two sizes smaller than advertised. But I've bought a couple different sweatshirts over the years, and the other ones were fine.
My advice is pay attention to the return policy and try it on as soon as you get it. But you'll probably be fine buying the sizes you'd normally wear. Probably.
Adidas is actually pretty good with making longer shirts so I can buy an XL and actually wash and dry my clothes.
Just my 2 pennies.
Puma has the worst sizing of all the major sports brands makers
try on an xxl and it fits like a Large
all of puma's sizing is european
i understand they are a euro company
but they need to get with the program and size it american
And yet, I bought an XL golf shirt recently and I'm swimming in it. And I'm 6'4" 230.

As someone who outfitted 100+ UM athletes in adidas gear every year, let me tell you this:
adidas uses two completely different and arbitrary sizing guides. There is no way to know if you're buying a medium that fits like an XL or a medium that fits like a Medium. Find a way to try on one size for the item you want or buy both and make a return.
