Only three teams seems very low to me.
Granted traditional basketball powers: UK, KU, Duke, Syracuse, UConn etc. are not great football schools- it seems like most top teams in either sport is from BCS conferences and that just by chance there should be more overlap.
The are more mid-major top-25 in both sports than normal- and the chance that a mid0major is top-25 for both is very low I suppose?
Is there anyone with a crazy memory or more time than me who can look up how often the overlap in top-25 has been this low?
Either way it is a very cool thing to be relevant in both sports- and a good time to be a Wolverine!!

Our conference is well represented in these lists. Can we declare dominance in multisports?

...the bball season has barely begun and those polls can change drastically from week to week. As an example, Alabama could easily find itself in the rankings next week (#26 currently) as could Notre Dame.
Michigan finding itself in the top25 at the end of the season in bball will be a bigger prize (and one that i fully expect to happen).
