Video: Brendan Gibbons Interview
Brendan Gibbons Interview for Spring 2012. Here is the link.
I uploaded these interviews to my youtube channel a couple of days ago but purposely didn't post them on the board since they're included in Inside Michigan Football which is up in diaries.
Well looks like mgokev's got it covered... in other observations, every white guy on our team is growing a viking beard. I approve.
Its because of Hoke. That guys just spreads confidence and toughness to everyone around him.
...and of course, hopefully he will continue to think about brunettes - I married one, as a matter of fact, so I agree with Brendan personally. I also like the work ethic that he is displaying - he really is working hard, from the sound of things, and I actually chuckled when he sort of alluded to Hoke himself gave him this tool to mitigate any anxiety (not brunettes specifically, of course - just something that makes one happy). Brunettes will do that.
I must say, I like the "Viking" look, and I hope that other teams take a cue from this. Imagine seeing the crew team out on the Huron one morning....
It's OHIO Bredan!!!
Something I've always been curious about, since I like to see Michigan clips get lots of views on Youtube (don't really know why that's important to me), but can someone tell me, when we view an embedded Youtube clip, does that count as a view, or do "views" only count when viewed directly through Youtube's site?
Embedded video's count for views I believe
Embedded views count but that's not why these videos have so many views. About 50% of views for new uploads on my channel in the last 30 days came from the youtube watch page (desktop), 20% from mobile devices, 30% embeds.
It still counts as a view, and you can track which websites people are viewing the videos from. Youtube has a little info-graphic under each video that shows all of this information. It's actually pretty cool, and useful if you make and upload your own videos. You can see what the demographics of your viewers are, and tailor your videos accordingly, or to reach a wider audience.
For example, I once uploaded a video and youtube told me that Angelique Chengelis tweeted it, which was pretty cool.
I appreciate the info. I can always count on my fellow MGoBloggers to be MGoExperts in just about any subject.
It is crazy to see how much can change in one year.
