I want to say the Sugar Bowl because obviously Michigan was in it but at the same time I never want to see us play that poorly again, especially against a team where I'll get shit for the next couple of years if we lose.

Ohio-Utah State was good. Toledo-Air Force. Seeing ND lose that way was funny. But as you said, the 3 BCS bowls not involving Clemson were really good.

Often offensive shootouts make for exciting games (who doesn't love a long touchdown every once and a while), but that one was too much. I got bored midway through the third because no one was able to stop anything.

SDSU takes the lead with 35 seconds left, the Ragin' Cajuns execute perfectly to set up a 50 yard game-winning field goal as time expires. That game was crazy.

This was definitely the best game (new Orleans bowl).

Reverse 2 and 3 and that's my list. And maybe replace #4 with BYU-Tulsa or SDSU bowl.
Rose Bowl was awesome. Just wish Wisconsin would have had one more play.

would you spike a ball with two seconds to go? It takes 2 seconds to spike it! I will never understand that call. That's not what cost them the game though that bizarre fumble that Oregon recovered at the sideline was the strangest fumble I've ever seen it's almost like there was no way it was going to go out of bounds.

Ugh, that fumble. Just go out of bounds. At most, he was going to pick up 1-2 more yards.

It seemed like anything was going against Wisconsin like no matter what Wisconsin was not going to win that game. As a player I would of been spooked if I saw the replay of that on the scoreboard.

From Washington State.

Vandy/Cincy was pretty good too.

If I wasn't a Michigan fan the Sugar Bowl would be no where close to the top 5. A poorly played and executed game. But I am a Michigan fan so I loved it.
The Rose Bowl was highly entertaining, just enough defense to make it so it wasn't Baylor-Washington.
Ok State and Stanford was really good as well. I
In all honesty the second half of Georgia-MSU was really good to watch.
Throw in one more and you probably have close to my top 5.

then Fiesta.
That La tech - SDSU game was fantastic.
Air Force was fun.
ND for the laugh,as usual.
Not sure after that, but can't pick Sparty due to homerism.
Wasn't a big fan of the Rose, probably because I loathe the imbalance of Oregon and Wiscy in general; and certainly not that ridiculous Baylor game.
Anyone else sit through the UCLA-Illinois Kraft Fighting Hunger All Across the World Even In Your Supermarket Bowl? One of the worst played games, outside of Mercilus. Stunning, the poster Bowl for trimming the fat this year.

I'm a homer, so I liked the Sugar Bowl. I'm actually not sure whether Michigan played poorly, or just brought the wrong game plan. I think Molk's injury contributed to the offense not playing as crisply as it might have otherwise done.
I was happy that Sparty beat Georgia. I like to see the B1G win OOC games.
The Rose Bowl was horribly disappointing because Wiscy and the B1G could have been in position to win with better time management. Bielema is at times a great coach, and at times a Les Miles without the luck.
Frankly I thought that some of the lesser bowls were more interesting than the BCS bowls.

Sorry guys, but as a realistic Michigan fan, the Sugar Bowl was not the best bowl game. There was bum play on all ends. Now if you're talking about the ends of games only, you'd have a case.

I'll leave the Sugar off my list, even though it is a clear-cut number one for me (a Michigan match-up against a MAC school is a much bigger deal for me than any bowl game, so I can't objectively evaluate).
1. Rose (this was a shootenanny, and would've been closer but for costly Wisky fumble)
2. Fiesta (these two teams should have been in a playoff with LSU-Bama)
3. R+L Carriers (terrific last minute, good way to ring in bowl season)
4. Military (AF goes for two and loses to Toledo... a well-played game, and the MAC was good this year)
5. Alamo (overrated, as Washington never really got back into it late, but delivered a season's worth of big plays)

"a Michigan match-up against a MAC school is a much bigger deal for me than any bowl game"
I'm confused, what does this mean?

1. Rose Bowl
2. Tostitos Bowl
3. Outback Bowl
4. Alamo Bowl
5. Sugar Bowl
6. National Championhip
The Sugar Bowl was just a boring game. The National Championship was even worse.
