it is a bug.
the easiest work around: open the >> link in a new tab or window.

I have had this problem for some time.

I'm running Firefox 8 on a Macbook.
Easy workaround I've found is that if you switch the tab from new to recent Mgoboard posts, you can go to page 2 without any problems.

Uhh..if you have 99 problems, you shouldn't be on this board.
I think I just identified your 100th problem.

Click "recent" and then click on the arrow. It does change the order to most recently commented on, though.

Yes, I have the same problem. The workarounds do work around it, of course.
On a slightly different topic - and I'm not sure if this has come up before or not because I'm relatively new here - the board software sucks. The server seems slow, too. But the big thing is the software. I'm not sure what's running here, and I'm not an expert, but I do know that the other boards I use are way, way easier to navigate, change settings, follow threads, find updates, find replies, basically everything. These boards are currently a -3. Not quite GERG territory, but far from tremendous.

these boards seem like paradise. Kidding aside, I agree about the crappiness of the board software. I get a lot of "Server Unavailable" messages for no apparent reason, like not during major games or anything. Posts take a long time to upload. The unusability of the scrolling arrows in the MGoBoard sidebar or main page is also extremely inconvenient.
I'm running Chrome on a wireless network with a laptop that's less than a year old. This should not be happening with this frequency or seemingly across the board to all users without special access privileges.

Ever heard the phrase: you get what you pay for?

And exactly how much do you pay monthly for all that we get at MGoBlog?

So stop going all Ohio on the site software. This doesnt have Jerry Jones's budget. We should be thankful for the bliss Brian has brought us and not be bitchin about his software.

This thread is for reporting problems with the site software. Reporting these problems and describing circumstances of the website that are faulty or frustrating does not count as disloyalty or being ungrateful.

I was having some trouble early with the upvote downvote icons for the OP and I couldn't post about it (or post anything) because the text box wasn't showing up either. Obviously, now that issue seems to be resolved. I'm just mentioning it in case someone else had this problem and if there is something that needs to be fixed.

this was the start of a 12 step program thread for mgoblog addiction....

For a long time. Is it just so bad now that we've had like 3 threads in the last week and a half for it? I can't say it's ever been much better than a 50% success rate.
