TomVH on ESPN Recruiting Nation
I just caught an episode of Recruiting Nation on ESPNU, and it looks like TomVH is getting some good publicity/opportunities. They had some field reporters at a few universities talking about the impact of retro/creative uniforms, and TomVH reported from in front of the Big House.
He said that the ND retro jerseys are a hit, specifically mentioning Darius Powe's reaction as, "Oh, the uniforms definitely give them the same advantage as an Oregon-type of school" (This was paraphrased, not an exact quote).
It appeared to be a piece pushed onto TomVH by ESPN because I don't think he would have otherwise ever mentioned jerseys. Nonetheless, it's good seeing him get some TV time, and he definitely had the best AV equipment of all the reporters.

i haven't had the chance to see it yet, but did Powe say that comment about our jerseys for the nd game or about nd's jerseys?

It was the UM jerseys Powe was referencing.

throttle Louisville? Thoroughly outplaying them, well-coached, clearly the better team.
Yikes Charlie Strong

Yeah, it's pretty sad. They do not look displined and are getting crashed on the lines.

However, these posts are getting a little redundant.
I can see tomorrow's already
OP: "TomVH scratched his ass on ESPN!"
Concerned MGoBlogger: "Hey, this is behind a paywall, can someone summarize?"
Helpful MGoBlogger: "TomVH just scratched his ass on video - boy he sure is short!"

TomVH is a legend and provided so much to this blog you need to accept that people here have an affinity for him and his information. Your time as a member resembles your lack of knowledge toward Tom and let me stand corrected if you are a long time reader and short term poster...

And I have nothing but appreciation and admiration for what Tom has done for MGoBlog.

Than let me stand corrected, but Tom has given so much knowledge to people that for you to degrade what he has brought is somewhat troublesome that's all.... Dont talk about people getting excited about him scratching his ass. You sound like a 7th grader trying to be funny

will not be degraded by a single satirical comment I posted. Tom was not the target of the satirical post. That is the nature of satire - some can see the humor, some are just offended. Sometimes people need to be able to take a look at themselves and find humor in what they do. There was a lot of self deprication in that post. Following TomVH was what got me hooked on MGoBlog, and I see quite a bit of myself in the dialogue I posted.
On the other hand, if you are just an overly sensitive indiviual, then I fear I will offend you again in the future - just maybe at a different grade level.
