Agent Zero makes CNN/SI All-Glue Team
Just glad to see some Michigan basketball players get some kind of recognition.

Zach Novak makes the CNN/SI All-Glue team. Agent Zero has so outplayed his body and expectations. Truly one of my favorite Michigan athletes of all time. Hoping Zach sticks around and gets a job doing color-commentary on local radio or TV after he graduates in 2012.
Novak is playing so out of position that its almost an advantage to him at this point. He is able to handle the ball better than most forwards and can strip the ball away from bigger players. However he pays for this dearly with his boxing out and getting constantly beaten up downlow. Zach Novak is a true baller!
"The two things he walked in the door with here are toughness and leadership," Beilein said. "The only time I get mad at Zack is if he passes up a shot. That tells you all you need to know about what kind of kid he is."
I think (I'm not sure, though) that he's in Ross, so I'm not sure about him sticking around for color commentary after graduation. He's definitely up there as one of my favorite Michigan players of all time, though.
He is indeed in the Ross School of Business and set to graduate in May of 2012
Congratulations Zach, it is well deserved.
I love Zach Novak, but can we not call him Agent Zero? That's been Gilbert Arenas' nickname for long enough, and Gilbert Arenas is basically everything that Novak does NOT stand for on the basketball court, so...
I prefer True Grit
I'm not a big fan of reusing nicknames.
because I have been calling Jim Belushi "jmblue" for years and that didn't stop you from using that handle.
Or are you Jim Belushi?
edit: and I am 100% bored at work
Do you like butterfly?
It may be "original," but that does not make it good, either.
although it's nothing original or exciting, I know the team calls him DMo on the court. That sounds a lot better than 'the butterfly', and we take away the thoughts by this idiot Doyle that he has the power to coin a nickname.
as well. Has Doyle even thought about what happens next year when Morris has already been out of the cocoon for a year? Will he keep calling him butterfly in year 3 and 4 because he made a big leap from year 1 to year 2? How can he possibly think that nick name will stick?
I was actually thinking this post was about Arenas when i opened it, and that was making me wonder what the All-Glue Team was...
Agent Zero, I love it! I hope that our team takes an even bigger step forward next year and wins him and Stu a Big Ten Crown and a deep run in the NCAA's. They deserve it for sure.
get to steal Gilbert Arenas' nickname now? Since Smotrycz wears 23 lets call him Evan "Air" Smotrycz. While we're at it - change 'The Butterfly" to "CWebb". Who is with me?
CWebb makes absolutely no sense, and it's still better.
Don't we call all #4's wearing maize CWebb? What am I missing?
When Desmond Howard was here, some people tried to call him "Magic" for awhile. It didn't really catch on.
"Magic" was Desmond's nickname in high school IIRC.
Can't think of much more of a deserving player.
