Beilein has had two deep tourney runs in 9 seasons. It's absolutely fair to question whether his system/style can push us consistently into the top tier of the B1G. MSU has ran us out of Crisler two years in a row now and we just don't look physical and get pushed around against the top-tier teams. I don't want to call for his head yet but it is worth asking whether 2013-2014 were blips or if Beilein can generate that type of run again.
Seems like we have struggled to slow down spread offenses for a decade--Troy Smith, App State, Oregon, Vince Young, Terrelle Pryor, Braxton Miller, Indiana, JT Barrett, etc. IMO we've lacked fast, athletic linebackers and D linemen that can really close and tackle and slow down these offenses.
Has Drew Sharp posted a column yet about how hiring Harbaugh is bad b/c it shows Michigan is still stuck in the past without mentioning his W-L record, success of program building in college and pro, and energy he brings to the team?

I'm pretty sure Jason Day's wife is an OSU grad and he has a house in the Columbus area, so it would be interesting if he's paired with JH.
