Saw that Philippines pitcher and was struck by how her team did some weird ritual at the "mound" every time she had a K. That shit would never stand in baseball. For better or worse, those PHL batters would be plunked every time they came to the plate.
She did do a good job, or the Curaçao girls had no business in the tournament. Not really sure...
Either way, tho, congrats on the gig and keep reppin' that 'M'
I lived in DC for half a decade. People barely cared about college football at all (compared to NFL) and pretty much no one I met ever mentioned VA Tech.
Blacksburg to DC is about the same distance as Ann Arbor to Indianapolis. I saw about the same amount of Va Tech hats in the DMV as Colts hats in A2.
As someone who works in wrestling, I appreciate both the time you've taken to promote our B1G Champion wrestling team and the sport at large. It was a wonderful season and having the championships in Detroit made for an amazing ending! Great Job.
I was a begrudging Lions fan until 2008 when I moved to DC. The Nation's Capital is a place where nobody cares about Saturday football. As a kid who grew up thinking Sunday was mostly an afterthought, I was forced to admit to everyone I worked with that I was from Michigan and did, in fact, root for the Lions.
After 16 straight Mondays of "How'd your Lions do this weekend?!?" I vowed to never root for the Lions again. Not root against them, per se, but just not invest any emotion in them whatsoever. Haven't regretted it for a second.
Of course, I replaced them with the Washington Football Team which has been about 0% better.
Exactly. I was listening to the game in Ypsi with friends and once we got down two scores I drove down and parked at Bush's. I then walked to the stadium and someone literally gave me a ticket.
I was still hung over after hanging with the Ypsi crew the night before and after the horror, I puked in an empty trash barrel. Compared to the game, that was the highlight of the whole event.

Oh, those bucks. I thought I was gonna get to hear how you unmask OSU as the real culprit, here!
I'm not sure if you meant 'pretty' or 'petty'...
But, I'm totally gonna start saying that to my daughter and wife whenever they argue.
'Ladies, both you and your mom are pretty, so can you two please stop arguing now?!?'
That's right. I remember it being explained that their mother liked the sound of "Mr. Simpson" and having a son that had to be called "Sir"
Well, yes every game, but especially THE game.
Can confirm. Worked with Adam, professionally, and he is all-at-once a huge, smart, nice guy.
Got one for my hockey room in the basement. Really ties the room together nicely.
Thoughts and prayers for you and Finneas. And thank you for reminding me how precious life is and how lucky I am to share it with my little one!
This is funny. And why it's funny is sad.
I would make some joke about your username and it's relevance to your comments, but after how A&M's jokes blew up in their face last weekend...
I'll leave that alone.
I'm thinking blue. Navy, in fact. Or perhaps yellow, depending on your skin tone. But, definitely not that gross Adidas yellow.
And I, too, will suggest Casey's no matter what she answers.
These are all good questions and I'm going to commit them to memory for the next time the wife asks where we should go to eat.
If we assume (hope?) he confused MSU for us, he's not all that off from the AP poll. Minny, aside.
Atta Boy!
Second this.
This is the way.

Nice work. I legit spit-laughed out a bite of soup reading your comment.

That sucks, but thanks for all the reports!

So how's it look for a team title? PSU too far ahead?
Couldn't agree more. He's right there with Matt Millen in terms of former coaches I never want to hear the opinion of.
IDK. You'd prolly be right if we were talking about just football fans. But, anyone who follows hockey would have at least heard of it.

Couldn't agree more. Every time I see it I watch a couple iterations thru and try to figure out why it works so well.
MIKE JONES!!!
What do you expect from a 1-year-old lifelong fan?
Because he can't figure out chopsticks
Atta Boy!
So sorry. My heart sank as I read your post. I hope you can take some solace in random internet people sending their sincere support and concern.

But, how's the current Arkansas coach doing?
Which one?
Couldn't agree more about ESPN+. Now that they have literally 1000+ out-of-market NHL games this season, it really is a no-brainer.
Enjoy, bud. Go Blue!
It was a while ago. I had to look it up and that's where I saw the bit about his recent shenanigans.

Altho, in his defense, while he admits to throwing the pumpkins, he vehemently denies the slappy part.
Read your comment and gave a quick look.
Shouldn't have been surprised, but I gotta admit it was shocking to see scroll after scroll of the "everybody murders" take.
Don't forget the homophobic part!
IKR. I'm a typography nerd who would've totally rocked a 'Wingding Athletics' t-shirt.
So, he was 2/12 for 45 yards over the final 3 quarters? Unless my math is way off, ewwww.
Back in the adidas days when half the away jerseys had an 'M' above the nameplate and the other half didn't.
Pretty impressive back and forth.
Not to mention that a good chunk of that semi-recent tradition is at least somewhat tainted by what came to a head this summer.
Great stadium, too. Also, not much further from Ann Arbor than Detroit.
