This would be a sad development. Watching parkinggod is a game night ritual in my household. I will never tire of watching PG’s highlights from last year’s osu game, where he spliced in Urban Meyer’s “They WILL stop the run” right before Edwards breaks off an 80-yarder.
I love seeing all these because they remind me of my home growing up. My dad set up an incredible “Michigan Room” that was covered in Block M wallpaper, and then covered in old M pennants, bumper stickers, newspaper clippings from great games, a painting of Bo running out to the M-club banner, etc. He had a brown jug, and an M football helmet filled with all his ticket stubs (pretty much every game since the late 60s). It was…incredible. There were only two non-M things in the room: a weight machine and a punching bag. You better believe those got used with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind. Just writing and thinking about it makes me miss my dad like hell.
1) My parents had season tickets in Section 42 for decades, and that’s where I became a fan. There, and the room in our house called “The Michigan Room.”
2) Louis Kahn’s Exeter Library, which has nothing to do with this board, but it soothes me.
Hail To The Victors also has an in-depth description of what the RPO is, how it differs from Play Action, and how Michigan can best use it this year. Worth a look!
It’s worth checking with your mother/grandmother to see if there are any “family diamonds” floating around. It’s nice to have a story and a sentimental attachment to the stone, and it doesn’t cost $5,000.
It also helps to look at what kind of jewelry she already wears—yellow gold or silver? Ornate or elegant?—as that will give a pretty good indication of her style.
As an MGoBlog reader by morning and night (and let's be honest also by day), the amount of white space on the board is a drag. Most comments (such as this one) are honestly not interesting or valuable enough to merit the time it takes to scroll past them, and that nano-second break between posts makes it harder to read the flow of the conversation.
I propose that only umbig11 gets white space, and the rest of our posts are packed in like sardines.

Say what you will about the tenets of national socialism, at least it’s an ethos.
