01/17/2019 - 3:51pm I watched the 1981 Rose Bowl…

I watched the 1981 Rose Bowl from start to finish, and it was a thorough, old school ass kicking.

It made me a fan

01/16/2019 - 12:01pm hmmmmmm...

hmmmmmm...

01/16/2019 - 12:00pm yeah..that would be a SHAME…

yeah..that would be a SHAME... /s

01/15/2019 - 2:42pm Agreed. I am finding it…

Agreed. I am finding it similarly helpful.

01/15/2019 - 2:42pm This is hilarious, and yet…

This is hilarious, and yet painful, because it is also true.

01/15/2019 - 2:40pm I don't care. Just win, baby.

I don't care. Just win, baby.

12/14/2018 - 2:03pm You're a fool to yourself if…

You're a fool to yourself if you eat that shit

12/14/2018 - 2:02pm I couldn't stand him, the…

I couldn't stand him, the smarmy, musclehead jerk.

12/12/2018 - 12:54pm There isn't much that can…

There isn't much that can stop a true dual threat QB with good OL pass protection and speedy, sticky-fingered receivers who run good routes...

You need an offense that can keep up, keep the pedal down, and score quickly...AND also keep the opponent's offense off the field with a productive run game in the 4th Quarter.

12/12/2018 - 12:50pm If I could only upvote you a…

If I could only upvote you a thousand times. So much this. Who are we going to get that is better than Harbaugh?  Seriously?

Stop with the negative vibes, people, it does neither you nor the program any good at all.

12/07/2018 - 10:28am Too soon

Too soon

12/06/2018 - 5:08pm It would be great for the…

It would be great for the program, but not as satisfying for me personally as finally trouncing Ohio State in football. I hate to sound like a Sparty, but I care more about beating Ohio State in football than a national championship in any sport, including football.

12/06/2018 - 4:36pm I would LIKE to see more…

I would LIKE to see more passing on first and second down, regardless of distance, especially in the first half, against all opponents...and better pass pro to ensure it works. I think it should be okay next year, Stueber looks like he will be a pretty good tackle and there are others behind him and Runyan who are both capable and eager.

12/06/2018 - 4:02pm It only hurts when I laugh…

It only hurts when I laugh LOL owww...

12/06/2018 - 11:04am He would also walk right…

He would also walk right into an organization that wants to win championships, and win them sooner rather than later, unlike most of the NFL. They're down a little bit this year but can come roaring back next season or the one after as long as Rodgers remains healthy. Dude is a magician.

12/06/2018 - 11:00am Yeah, Spielman has been very…

Yeah, Spielman has been very good, better than Herbie IMO.  A real professional. I get very tired of Galloway flapping his jaw, too.

12/06/2018 - 10:58am I would so totally upvote…

I would so totally upvote this +5 just for the use of inappropriate humor

12/06/2018 - 10:57am Perfect response. Cris is…

Perfect response. Cris is just stirring the pot.  I liked him as a player in the NFL and even when he played for OSU I had a grudging respect for him because he was so clearly a great athlete with tremendous work habits.  Still...I get tired of sports journalists with OSU ties speculating about Michigan football and acting like they've got any kind of insight.

He's probably trying to protect OSU recruiting, which doesn't really need it.  Day is going to do just fine.

11/16/2018 - 4:49pm All I ask is the team play…

All I ask is the team play hard enough and well enough to win convincingly sans injuries.  No injuries. Especially at QB.

Then,

Bring me the severed, dripping head of Brutus the Buckeye.

11/15/2018 - 3:07pm Cupcakes as far as the eye…

Cupcakes as far as the eye can see.

11/15/2018 - 11:52am LOL. I wonder who they play…

LOL. I wonder who they play next, too...who could it be?

11/13/2018 - 5:17pm He looks like an O-Line…

He looks like an O-Line coach.

11/01/2018 - 5:09pm Pay the man his money and…

Pay the man his money and keep him here for the love of all that is holy.

We will not have a DC in negotiation with Maryland before The Game ever again.

F*** that.

11/01/2018 - 12:36pm Devin, Chase, and co. have…

Devin, Chase, and co. have to get to him early and rattle him.  Keep the pressure on all game. Force incompletions and sacks.  If they can do that consistently, especially on 3rd downs, Penn State will have a very difficult time scoring at all.

10/31/2018 - 10:09am Giggity

Giggity

10/30/2018 - 12:36pm Carioca.  It's a footwork…

Carioca.  It's a footwork exercise.

10/30/2018 - 11:43am I love it. Solving problems…

I love it. Solving problems with aggression, especially with unblockable DLs Winovich or Gary coming at the QB full throttle and only seconds to make the read.

10/29/2018 - 10:32am Michigan has to show up and…

Michigan has to show up and kick ass, too.  No f*** ups, especially on offense. They need to come out, move the ball well, and score early and often with a balanced attack. After they've got a two scores or greater lead they can start pounding the ball on the ground and throttle the life out of Penn State.

10/10/2018 - 12:17pm I am still furious about…

I am still furious about that 4th and 1 spot. That was some serious home cooked bullshit.

10/10/2018 - 12:07pm Same here.  If we beat Ohio…

Same here.  If we beat Ohio State 50-0 for the next decade, it will still be too soon.

09/19/2018 - 2:37pm I am so fucking sick of that…

I am so fucking sick of that narrative.  We need to curb stomp the next ranked opponent.

09/19/2018 - 2:30pm Brilliant!

Brilliant!

09/17/2018 - 12:26pm I never want a referee from…

I never want a referee from Ohio, or in any way affiliated with Ohio State or Michigan State Universities, to officiate at a University of Michigan football game again.  I don't want homer refs. I just want NEUTRAL ones who aren't trying to fuck our team in the ass. If our guy screws up, makes a dumb mistake, throw the flag. Just keep it FAIR, keep it consistent.

08/31/2018 - 2:01pm To Hell with Notre Dame.

To Hell with Notre Dame.

Beat the Fighting French Jesuit Plastic Paddies!

Go Blue!!!

08/31/2018 - 1:30pm Just win, baby.

GO BLUE

Just win, baby.

GO BLUE

Can't argue with Jim on this one. Urban is a sleaze.

08/23/2018 - 2:26pm Canada wouldn't take them. …

Canada wouldn't take them.  Too much damage to undo.  Maybe one of the Central Asian 'stans will have them...

08/23/2018 - 2:21pm Thanks.
That was awesome. …

Thanks.
That was awesome.  Definitely smile-worthy.  He was such a dazzling runner.

08/15/2018 - 4:45pm Too bad. Best of luck to him.

Too bad. Best of luck to him.

08/15/2018 - 3:40pm Yes. The pendulum can swing…

Yes. The pendulum can swing at any time.  Thank you.

08/15/2018 - 3:29pm Yeah. That sucked. To this…

Yeah. That sucked. To this day, my instant response to the words "Appalachian State" is something like Bela Lugosi's response to the mere mention of Boris Karloff's name in Ed Wood:

08/15/2018 - 3:23pm Yeah. That sucked. To this…

Duplicate. Please delete, mods

08/15/2018 - 3:19pm 2008. That was excruciating.

2008. That was excruciating.

08/14/2018 - 2:12pm A keen observation. Perhaps…

A keen observation. Perhaps it will bear out, and Drake will decide to terminate Urban Meyer's contract. He seems all right, and like he will make the right decision, based entirely on the available evidence.

08/14/2018 - 11:00am Love that picture of Bump…

Love that picture of Bump. That is the archetypal image of a football player!

08/14/2018 - 10:53am I share your weariness with…

I share your weariness with that narrative.  They keep flogging that poor, old, very dead horse, even though it smells terrible and the flies are thick...it's the easy, lazy thing to do. DiNardo is a retiree on the job. Mason isn't going to waste 5 minutes researching personnel and coaching changes.

Perhaps it's just as well, especially if the team comes out on September 1 and punches the Domers in their stupid Plastic Paddy mouths.

08/13/2018 - 11:18am Yes, the Aaron Shea…

Yes, the Aaron Shea comparison is apt. I look forward to seeing him take out 3 defenders with a single block on a swing pass or outside run against Wisconsin or OSU.

08/02/2018 - 12:52pm Best news I've heard in…

Best news I've heard in WEEKS. Check the diesel, make sure the generators and batteries are good to go, and fire up the Maize Submarine!*

BTW make sure the damned torpedoes detonate when striking targets this year.

*(I don't imagine the sub as being a nuclear boat; the AD's budget is enormous, but not inexhaustible)

07/25/2018 - 11:02am I think it's safe to say…

I think it's safe to say that's going up on the bulletin board in the locker room.

07/23/2018 - 5:04pm I had a similar experience…

I had a similar experience with my right middle finger tip and a non-sterile scalpel I was using for woodwind reed making (yeah I'm a band nerd).  I stabbed myself pretty good and still have a scar; I also lost feeling in that finger tip for about 3 years.

So, it does happen. Slowly. But an injury as bad as Grant's might take a long time. On the plus side he's a fit, strong young man with access to one of the best sports medicine programs in the country, if not the world.

I'm pulling for him, as are we all, but he is already a winner IMO.
