Now this guy is the real…

Now this guy is the real deal.

Everything was great for me…

Everything was great for me. Partied at the team hotel for 3 nights. The Convention Center event was OK and the pre-game tailgate at the stadium was pretty good too. Got in the stadium early for the festivities and had great seats on Mich side. The stadium was about 2/3 Mich fans. After Donovan’s 1st touchdown and Sainristil’s pick and run, the stadium was so loud I couldn’t hear the people next to me. Experience of a lifetime.

Best story I heard from a guy on the plane was that as the storm came just before the game, the ushers didn’t even bother scanning their tickets. They got in and eventually sold them back to Ticketmaster for 2k a pop. 😂

I don’t get it. Michigan’s…

I don’t get it. Michigan’s record post Covid is 36-3. Why do people complain about “not throwing enough”. If we did and lose, they’d complain that we don’t “run it enough”. Get some 5 star running backs and give em the ball, they’d cry. The goal is to WIN!!! Whether it’s passing, running, or defense, the goal is to WIN!!!  If that’s not good enough for a recruit, so be it. Michigan is one of the top universities in the world. If winning in front of the largest fan base in the country and a hopefully getting a great education is not enough for some, then make room for those who strive to be elite at Michigan for Michigan.

This is no knock on Underwood. He seems like a quarterback with great potential. I’ve watched him in person and I think he’s the real deal with his talent. I’d love to see him at Michigan and watch his development. But wherever he feels is the right fit for him, I hope he does great. Either way, with continued strong leadership, Michigan will be just fine.

If the weather co-operates,…

If the weather co-operates, consider a cider mill late morning/ early afternoon. A few hours before game time, hit a tailgate and party. They’re all around the stadium. Even though tix will be cheaper as game time approaches, I’d have mine earlier. Watch the band march down the street to enter the stadium. Be at your seats for their pre game show.

Since the Belleville game is AT Dearborn High, there are many good eatery’s in West Dearborn on Mich Ave. If u desire Middle Eastern cuisine, Malak El Kabab is a good one. If not, there are many different kinds of foods within that mile stretch. Whatever u choose, they’re all about a 5 minute drive to Dearborn High.

Defense all the way…

Defense all the way. Quarterback in second / third round. Bo Nix if he’s available.

I agree. I would’ve thought…

I agree. I would’ve thought the line would  be closer to 13. There is nothing I’ve seen from Michigan this year that shows me that they should be in this game. But we’ll see.

Oh the irony.

Oh the irony.

Ohio St might have an opening.

Reading with the game spread…

Reading the game posts, you understand one thing. Many of the posters are either a head coach or a coordinator, a quarterback, a defensive back, a receiver, a linebacker, or a lineman. And of course, they’re all five stars. Once the game is over however, they go back to the basements.

Wow. Just took a peek at…

Wow. Just took a peek at this board and you’d think Mich had a record of 2-8 and down 42-3 in this game.

A Wolverine will become a…

A Wolverine will become a Tiger and a Tiger will become a Wolverine

The only positive you can…

The only positive you can take from Houston is that he should be a senior in high school this year. Starting every game and getting all those minutes only shows us how bad the rest of the forwards on the team are. Dickinson will be gone and have a career overseas at best. Moussa has NBA potential but is definitely not ready yet. Jones gave it a shot but it’s time to go. Unless something drastically changes, this is a very average team next year

I don’t know what games you…

I don’t know what games you have been watching but there is no way Caleb is one and done. He’s lucky to start on a very mediocre Mich team.

You need a pass rush and…

You need a pass rush and athletic linebackers. Give any Quarterback enough time and he’ll chew up most corners and D backs…

Hunter is only effective…

Hunter is only effective against small, not too athletic centers. NBA is NOT for him.

Caleb is definitely not ready. He may never be. He has shown nothing to think otherwise.

Moussa needs more experience. Reminds me of a young Kevin Garnett. Needs a few years.

Coach Howard is already a multi millionaire. He’s an alumni and one of the fab 5. He makes great money from Mich as well. On top of all that, he gets to be with and coach his sons for the next 5-6 years. Why in the world would he ever leave...

Best wishes and good luck in whatever journey life takes you, Franz...

I have insurance so cost…

I have insurance so cost wasn't that bad considering. That is once deductible is met. Other than death, it's the long term effects that I think are going to cause us all problems. Damage to our lungs, heart, muscles, etc. are going to be monitored with a barrage of Dr. appointments EKG's, Xrays, blood work, and more follow ups.

And that includes people who think they had it mildly. It will be interesting if the insurance companies roll this into pre-existing conditions if the government allows this to happen. Will someone that had an asymptomatic Covid disease be classified as having a pre-existing condition? Will insurance rates sky rocket?

We, as a society, have to be on the same page. Either we all wear masks, social distance, etc till we beat this OR we all run around thinking we are invincible. Somewhere in between won't work. That's where leadership, enforcement, and respect for others comes in.

I'm not a Debbie Downer. Just a realist. But I think a lot of bad shit is still around the corner regardless of who is President in November. I just hope we don't someday look at the spring/summer of 2020 as the "good ol days".

I've had Covid. Wore masks…

I've had Covid. Wore masks. Took precautions. Washed and sanitized regularly. But it's a nasty disease. I still spent over a week in the hospital for it. It messes up your lungs big time. Still have lingering effects. Many people I know have had it. According to some brilliant geniuses out there, we all got sick deliberately because we hate Trump. We were even willing to die to prove a point. The irony about this is the most ardent Trump supporter we know actually died from Covid.

But let the doubters keep tooting their BS. Keep calling it a hoax. It'll hit home sooner or later.

Henry Ford. I wasn’t in ICU. Was on Covid floor. Very busy and scary with everyone covered head to toe. I don’t think they know if anyone is immune but I am taking the antibodies test Monday.

No chance in hell. And I’m a…

No chance in hell. And I’m a big Mich fan. Had COVID-19 and spent a miserable week in the hospital. Was completely drained and put on oxygen. Some may take this lightly but this shit is the real deal. Until they figure this out, Stay home - Stay safe.

Dwumfour had 4 starts in his 4 year career. It’s probably best that he goes elsewhere and we give another guy a shot

I was at the Ohio St. game…

I was at the Ohio St. game. Sat right behind the players bench in row 5 near the recruits. When defense was on the field, the offense are huddled as a group with the OC, maybe 20 feet from us. Talking about the past series/next series. Tarik seemed tuned out. When offense was on the field, he stood on the sideline with very little emotion. My friend and I said something wasn’t right. I don’t know how many snaps he saw but DPJ and Nico were almost always out there with Bell. Not gonna knock the kid but something wasn’t right. But I still hope things work out great for him.

Really debated going. Sucked…

Really debated going. Sucked it up and got to a friends tailgate around 3. Ate any and everything and watched afternoon games. Had a couple seats in Section 44, row 22. Great seats. But never got there. Friend ends up giving me a couple of dry seats in the club level suites. Tough choice but at least I was out of the rain. So I gave my seats away to a young couple. Turned out to be a win/win/win.

1st- Pick the neighborhood…

1st- Pick the neighborhood you like. (schools, proximity to work, etc)

2nd- Most property values are cyclical. Buy in a buyers market if at all possible. And buy what you can afford.

3rd- Try to put at least 20% down...NO PMI (Insurance)

4th- Make sure you know what the property taxes will be AFTER you purchase this home

5th- Don’t fall in love with this home. Because after the divorce, this becomes HER house.

? just joking

Although not as prestigious…

Although not as prestigious as the Rose Bowl, I think it’s important because we are now recruiting the Georgia area more than in the past. Current recruits get to play near home and future recruits get a chance to see the team up close...
