How cool would it be if the TRO doesn't come in time for the start of the game, but just after, and Harbaugh strolls in Willis Reed Game 7-style to put on the headset?

I keep thinking that they should nickname Keon, "Turbo" in honor of the Saab Turbo.

Fitted Bo Hat

The first couple of times I went to Ann Arbor as a kid in the early to mid-80's, I would go to Moe's to see that old polaroid of Rick Leach in the back. There were always pictures of Bo around wearing the skinny M hat, so that was my hat of choice, still to this day. I always remember them selling the hats as the "Fitted Bo". That is what I always have called them. I haven't seen it listed like that in a long time, but I always thought it had a nice ring to it. I think it should always go by that. I've had about four of them in my lifetime, with the last one being the New Era version, with the NE logo in matching navy blue thread on the side so you don't see it really. It's nice and clean and not mulled up with logos on it.

Keep the Number Font

I hope they keep their classic block font, but bring it back to the tight crispness that they had when they were previously with Nike. The double-digit numbers matched-up better against each other and didn't bunch up like they did with adidas. Also, they need to fix the #5. It always had an angled drop down instead of the straight-across bar it currently has. You can see the correct version in my avatar. It looked fresher and matched the #2 better. Also, they shrunk the name font on the back a little bit last season. I would like to see them bring it back up in size to where it was, especially since they got rid of the block M on the back. It will fill in the blank space on the neck better. I also would like to see the return of the Block M to the pants. Maize pants for both home and away, too.

Not bad, but...

I didn't mind the throwback uniforms. It was a nice change. The maize color wasn't my favorite, but it did have a strong feel to it. My only problem was with the new font for the names on the back. It didn't feel as strong or legible as the one they've used for the past several years. They we're a little thin and meak. I did prefer the maize pants, but this is kind of fun.

M Logo

In regards to the Michigan logo, the Block M is perfect as is. If you need to have a Wolverine mascot logo, I would save it only for vintage apparel like t-shirts and hats. Check out this Michigan cup I found at my wife's families lake house from a set of vintage, 1970's Big Ten cups. It's both awesome and brutal.

Nike Uniform Changes

I miss the large Block M on the side of the basketball shorts for starters. But what I really miss is uniform # font consistency. Nike fonts were always tight and crisp and they looked great on the players. Adidas went larger (football), which is fine but never held up really well. They always looked sloppy to me. Whenever a tackle was made the players would get up and the numbers would always stay scrunched or askew and become hard to look at. My biggest gripe is with the #5. It's my favorite #, as you can tell by my profile pic. Forgive me for the coach and player wearing it, but Tate Forcier was the last one to wear it correctly with the angled middle part of the 5. If you look at Jabrill Pepper's, his is now rocking the boring straight-across version. The # 2's and 5's used to be upside-backward mirror images of themselves, and now they don't align. The lines even had three different #5 fonts at one point (borrowing from the Packers) to truly cretae an uneven cohesion. If they could fix that I would be really excited.
