I am excited with Orji being the presumptive favorite.  Harbaugh calling him Walter Payton its like, are you serious?  If he is serious, we have something big in store I'd guess.

Bring it on.

Having Tuttle as the floor is definitely a great thing too.  Overall you could get worried about injuries but there seems to be decent depth and varying levels of experience, although basically no starting experience at all.

Should be an interesting year.  D is going to be just as good.  D line is insanely good at the starter position.  Same with safety.  Will Johnson best player in America next year?  We'll see about linebacker but shouldn't be terrible, just not sure how deep.

After watching Harbaugh on Rich Eisen, I feel good about Sherrone Moore and his staff and players.  I thought Harbaugh had a great explanation and was very classy in doing so.  He understood the assignment and spoke directly to the fanbase.

One discrepancy I saw with your chart is that Peyton O’Leary is backing up CJ at the x receiver, not DC. Might be one of the biggest storylines out of this whole thing after the Cade/JJ thing and Mason Graham at DT.

Sobriety is the new…

Sobriety is the new debauchery.  Not really but sobriety is pretty cool.  I quit alcohol Jan 8 of this year and weed June 15th of this year.

I'm 42 and successful.  Pretty similar situation as you describe.  But it was impacting my life and I knew it.

For me, I'm never going back.  Here's what motivates me.  My new mantra is "FREE DOPAMINE IS A TRAP."

When you drink or smoke your brain releases dopamine which keeps you satisfied and never push forward to obtain a new goal or endeavor.

I say skip the free dopamine and go get it the old fashioned way.  Work hard at something you think is cool and dopamine is released along the way.  Your life will thank you.

I'm a 42 yr old Tacoma bro and I drive a Tacoma.  I live in Marquette.  There are many like me up here.  Its great for hauling bikes and camping gear and getting the family off the grid for the weekend.  Don't try and tow anything significant though, you'll get 9mpgs.

I was a casual fan since I was a kid because of my Uncle Jon.  He was a huge dude with huge hands and he would scare the heck out of me when he would yell "Go Blue" and I was 6 years old.   I figured this better be my team because I didn't want to cross Uncle Jon.

Then the Fab 5 happened.  I was a sophomore in high school up in the UP.  That's when I became a true Wolverine fan.  I applied to go to school there the spring of 1998.  I never heard back until a week before classes started that I had been accepted.  By then I had already signed up to go to MTU.  But I remained a Wolverines fan, especially the football program.

In 2002, my now wife got accepted to grad school at UofM. I was going to grad school in Iowa at the time and would drive to her place to hang out for every home game.  My wife lived in an apartment on W Hoover on the first block off of S Main so I would be in charge of parking cars on game day.  She didn't care about football so she would always give me her ticket in the student section.

Then, in 2004, my life was forever changed.  Braylonfest happened.  It was, and still is, the most excitement and fun I have ever had at a sporting event.  When I got back to my wife's house after the game, there were a bunch of strangers partying in her living room.  It was all the people who's cars were parked at the house who left early from the game when all looked hopeless.

From that day on, I've been a lunatic fringe Wolverine fan.  I am a lurker on this page, but a lot of us are.  I follow everything Michigan football and basketball.  The good times and the bad times.  Its one of my favorite things in the world.

I just wish I had been I just wish I had been playing the game where you drink every time Huard said "situational football."

Yup my wife had a place on w Yup my wife had a place on w Hoover so we parked cars for the game. Came home afterward to a bunch of strangers celebrating in our living room who had left to go back to their cars right before Braylon started his fest. Great night of parting and celebrating with new friends.
