His offense is good enough to beat most teams in the B10, and that's it. Im willing to wager that his current offense philosophy will not win a national championship.
The body blow offense is great. Beating OSU, Florida State, South Carolina, and Florida. Why change at all. Jim is convinced it will work, just needs a little more time for players to adapt.

Why couldn't you run 2 back sets with higDon snd,Evans in the back field ? Then use those 2 to bootleg to a TE? I'm seeing a offense with different looks and formations. MICHIGAN has plenty of athletes USE them .
No football expert but Bama offensively looks amazing. Two back sets, singe back set, pro form, 3 wide, single tight end. Playing with swagger confidence. Hopefully our coaches are taking notes. Very creative play calling.

3. Up until this year I thought he was a great coach. I like the way the D played in the Citrus Bowl after durkin left. Thought he could he a good DC.
Hopefully his d line performs on par next year to what Michigan d line did this year.

I agree stars aren't a tell all but it is a indication. I think it's more about recognizing potential and developing players through coaching. Hate to say it but Alabama is on a whole another level of developing talent. They've tossed many a high ranking players to the bench.

After the past 2 years of getting kixked in the ass at the rnd of the seasonand now seeing pro trends the old way doesn't work anymore to get to the top. You need athletes at a high level level. Hope Harbaugh can adapt and change. If not this is the ceiling.
Here Michigan recruited a top tier QB who is going to put 70 points on OSU. His arm strength reminds me of Bret Farve, his mobility is Michael Vic, his accuracy is Brees. They recruited a gem. Awesome cant wait until he creams Bama.

Michigan has a great marketing strategy. Keep running the body blow offense. Eventually it will work.

I think Lawrence arm strength is much better Can't compare accuracy haven't seen much of Mcaffery. I think Mcaffery is more athletic.
