Go Blue. Jackrabbits run from Wolverines!
EVERYONE runs from a Wolverine. This was posted a couple days ago showing two wolves trying to take down a Wolverine. Nah....
How many jackrabbits would it take to beat up a single Wolverine? I seriously doubt SDSU has enough jackrabbits on their roster.
Go Blue!
Wolverines eat Jackrabbits like I eat Skittles.
you know, you have to boil them first. i think there is someone we can call for that....
One of my favorite thrillers. Glenn Close was nearly perfect in this as the jealous femme fatale.
Also, I like my skittles boiled, too.
yes, boiling skittles in the mash leads to Skittle-brau
A coworker of mine didn't boil his Skittles, but instead he would dissolve them in a 32-oz shaker bottle with 2 Monster energy drinks in it. He would do this twice a day in our office. He did not die.
Home state vs alma mater.....hmmmmmm
low key i think the jackrabbit is a great and unique mascot. tigers, wolves, bears, lions, cougars - bleh. Wolverines is good, altho much copied by high schools (for good reason). Jackrabbits? Up there with gophers, badgers and spiders as damn unique and fun.
There need to be more gorillas, ants, and bats in the sports world. And maybe foxes too, altho they're kinda cute and cuddly.
GO BLUE!
The Fighting Koalas?
Hail the Mighty Monarch Butterflies?
"2, 4, 6, 8, 0ur foes we will obliterate! Go, Skates!"
Don't give Mean Joe any ideas.
No score, bottom of 3rd, runner at 2nd, 2 outs.
Michigan is the home team today.
Groundout to 2nd, 3-outs
Going to the 4th scoreless.
Some missed opportunities. Go Blue!
Finally getting some runs! Good!
SoDak answers with a solo shot.
Michigan up 2-1 heading to bat in the bottom of the 6th
damn, the jackrabbits get one back. with a 1 out HR. Storako follows it up with a K. 2-1 blue in the top of the 6th. 2 down
and a groundout as i was writing. bottom of the sixth coming up
To people who follow the softball team closely: Was the drop-off in offense and particularly power numbers this year expected or something flukey?
The excellent season preview seemed to indicate it was expected.
Michigan goes quietly in the bottom of the 6th, remains up 2-1.
3 outs and a handshake ladies!!
The offense hasn't been good since 2017... They've averaged 6, 5.38, 6.10, 4.71, and now 4.88 runs/game this year since and have been under 1.05 home runs/game since. Pretty much trended downwards 0.77, 0.96, 0.87, and now this season 0.66 homers/game.
felt like the runner deliberately shifted her path when she saw the 1B set up, but it's a tough call. Go Blue, get 4 outs
It was a good call - runner 100% did the right thing. We teach our teams to do the exact same thing, which is to take visibility of the bag away from the catcher
Nice win. Got a little dicey there
Boobian with the save!
Yes, I did that on purpose. Those watching know what I mean.
Lol/well played.
I did a double-take when the commentator went with that pronunciation...
That's it! Closer than it needed to be, I suppose, but what's important is moving on.
BTW, didja notice the Jackrabbits have a player named Jerecki? Jerecki Jackrabbit!
Watching on Gamecast. Started walking away when I saw the 3rd strike pop up. Almost missed the ….but advanced to first on throwing error. Softball BPONE started kicking in!
one down, two to go!
Shakier ending than it should have been. Two-out, two-strike out strikeout and botched throw to first led to some tightening of the collars. All is forgotten as we advance in the Winners bracket. Keep plugging ladies!
In other games today, Notre Dame just gave up 10 runs to McNeese in the top of the 1st.
WTF?? I was on mgoblue.com this morning to confirm the time, and it still said 3:30 ET. Now I've missed it.
No replay available on ESPN+, either.
You got to Bump it up/ Mm don't you know/ Bump it up
At the time I checked (6-something), they had the new time.
Hail to the Victors!
Tough day for the Big Ten. All the #1 seeds so far, including Northwestern, have advanced. But Big Ten teams make up a good percentage of the #2 seeds that lost. Only Michigan and Nebraska also won. Big game with UCF tomorrow. Looks like she who can not be pronounced will get the start.
