Tickets for Little Brother
I am coming up for the massacre of Little Brother this year. I wanted to put the word out on this site to see if anyone knows where I might find up to 4 tickets together. I didn't know if anyone on Mgoblog might be unable to make the game and if not what they might want for the tickets. Please let me know ASAP because I really want to get us registered for the tour of the Big House on the 10/10/10.

This Little Brother stuff? Michigan State or Sparty will do just fine.
I get it - they are our little brother and many have a huge inferiority complex (especially in football), but it's a little bit more difficult to talk about "Little Brother" when they've beaten us the past two years.
Just sayin' - Let's get back on top before we start shit talking again....
But that is why they are little brother - because no matter what sport they beat us in we're always better than them in life; hence little brother status.
If your little brother beats you in Monopoly for the first time ever, does that make him all of a sudden the older brother?
It seems childish to call them little brother forever. And besides, it is possible for the little brother to grow up and become more accomplished than the older brother. Lets just beat them this year and then our real names will speak for themselves.
One small point of contention -- even if MSU beats us for 10 straight years in football they'll still be little brother. Their program is not nationally relevent and it will take more than a decade of beating UM before they can honestly say they've swung the pendulum. Beating Michigan during its two worst years in 40 isn't a case of surpassing us. Illinois and Purdue have done the same -- its meaningless in the big picture.

But like I said, it's tough to shit talk when you are 8-16 in two years and 0-2 vs. Little Brother.
They beat us two years....big deal.....but we need to start spanking them again before I feel comfortable about the whole "little brother" meme again.
but at the end of the day I was asking about tickets for the game. If you can help in that area great but I couldn't care less if you think "Little Brother" is getting old. I for one can't stand their fan base and therefore it doesn't bother me to throw the term around every once in a while. So sorry if I offended you.
